Hwiyoung expected to just go back to his house and eat some instant ramen. He wasn't expecting to be brought out for barbecue. Once the two had ordered, Chanho spoke up.

"How have you been? You know, since you moved." He asked, leaning forward and resting is head in his hand. Hwiyoung had a small smile on his face.

"It was pretty good at first. You remember Youngbin. I basically stuck with him when I got here. I made friends pretty quickly." He said. It was nice thinking back on how welcoming everyone was when he came.

"I'm glad you're being treated well." Chanho said. He saw Hwiyoung tense up. "For the most part."

"Yeah." Hwiyoung ran his fingers through his hair.

"Have you been eating? You pretty much dodged the question earlier." Chanho looked at him directly in the eyes. There was no way Hwiyoung would avoid his questions.

"I have. I ate a lot. I've just... slowed down." He said, his voice quieting near the end.

"Slowed down, huh? You've always been like that. You need to eat. I want you to be full and healthy and enjoy a lot of good foods." The older said. Hwiyoung giggled. "Okay, so you've been in school. What'd you do before it started?"

"I got a job, actually. I've been working at a cafe with one of my friends. It's nice there. You'll have to come with to my shift on Sunday. Sorry, I should have warned you about that." He said. He looked down and fiddled with his fingers.

"It's not even a problem. I understand." Chanho said as they were brought their food. He began to cook everything.

"Enough about me, how have you been?" Hwiyoung asked. He rested his head in his hand, taking the position his friend was just in.

"I've been well. It was hard after you left. Of course it was hard, but it got better. We miss you a lot, you know?" Chanho said flipping the meat. Hwiyoung looked down and nodded.

     "I'm sorry."

"Don't apologize so much. You didn't choose to leave." Chanho said, trying to make the younger feel better.

"But I chose not to say goodbye."

Taeyang was laying in bed. He couldn't seem to find a comfortable position. He continued to toss and turn. He would throw the blankets off and get too cold. He would wrap himself up and be too hot. He groaned. His head was filled with thoughts of what happened after school. He needed to let it go.

"He broke up with you. You aren't together anymore. You're acting like he can't have other friends." He whispered to himself. The darkness was usually nice. Something to help him fall asleep. Tonight it was extremely unpleasant. He flopped onto his side and groaned.

Giving up on trying to sleep, he grabbed his phone off of his bedside table and opened Instagram. He scrolled through his dashboard, occasionally liking photos from idols and fan accounts. He had gotten so caught up in what he was doing, he didn't realize that it was 2:24 am. He locked his phone, tossed it aside, and forced himself to get to sleep.
