It's about 3 months later, and Daniel has tried to come every day. If not, then every other day. Sometimes twice in one day, for Charlie. He loves her but he feels inside like it's wrong.

Charlie. She loves Daniel. She feels safe with him. Every time he leaves she instantly feels unsafe. Oni and Charlie are the closest thing a 70 year old man can get with a 14 year old. If she needs advice, she simply asks Oni

"Hey Daniel." Charlie said slouching next to Oni "Hey princess." He replied.

She has learned so much. He taught her so much. She knows everything and for once, feels needed and noticed. Loved.

"How does lunch sound?" Daniel asked, helping her up. "I guess." She said.

"Hey. What's wrong." He said looking her strait in the eyes. "Nothing." He stood in disbelief. "Somethings wrong." He said walking away with her. "Fine. I fucking hate this place. I want to go back." She said.

Over the few months that her and Daniel have been friends, she told him everything. And I mean everything. That includes mother, commander, and her rape situation.

"B..but he- he raped you Charlie." He said. "I can't let you go run away to a place that's worse than this." Daniel was determined to keep her safe. Charlie shook her head in annoyance and opened the door that they ended up walking to.

After Charlie ordered, she took out the money she found, and accumulated to pay. "Stop. I'll pay for you." Daniel said. "Why?" She asked. "Because I want you to keep saving up Charlie." He said. "You'll want it one day."

"Please don't let me go back!" She pleaded. "You have no where else to stay!" He exclaimed. She bowed her head, continuing to follow up to Daniel. She sighed. "Look. You know I want to help you, but I really don't know of anywhere you can stay right now." He said to Charlie.

"I know." She said leaving Daniel outside. Logan emedietly started getting touchy with Charlie as it brought back bad memories. Luckily, Dnaiel never walked away. Charlie told Daniel about him. He's annoying.

As Charlie struggled to get out of his grip, she started crying, hyper ventalating. "No. Not here. Not now!" Charlie thought. Nobody was in the lobby.

Daniel was getting very angry at Logan. Then Daniel had enough. He busted through the door and took Logan down to the ground with a swift tackle. He looked back at Charlie crying and lifted his fist.

"Stop!!! Daniel No!" She shouted. It was useless. He swung but punched the ground in distraction. He punched him again smashing his mouth. "DANIEL!!! WHAT THE HELL?" Charlie screamed rushing over as Daniel got up, proud of himself.

Charlie didn't feel bad. She was worried he would get in trouble, so she cleaned it up. Nothing but a busted lip. Thank God. She sighed and walked away from Logan. Despite what just happened, she still wanted to go back to mother.

Once Daniel got home, he rang David.

"Hello?" David asked. "Yeah, I need to talk to you about something." Daniel said hopefully. "Hit me." David replied. "So, you know how i found that girl a few months ago?" Daniel asked. "Yes?" He asked obliviously.

"Well, she needs out of that shelter. And I want her tok stay here." He spat out. "Are you fucking crazy!?" David exclaimed. Daniel sighed.

"Yes David. Yes. I. Fucking. Am."
