"Wake up bitch." The girl from yesterday said slapping Charlie to wake her up. Charlie's reflexes kicked in and she swung strait ahead at the girl and hit strait, dead center of her head.

She fell to the floor knocked out. Charlie got up, not looking back, and grabbed clothes from the rooms shared closet and got dressed. She chose a tank top and Jean shorts and the same color jean jacket. She saw an old pair of black skater shoes with white stripes down the sides. She slid them on after reading the brand. "Vans." She whispered walking out side.

She sat in front of the building and observed what was going on outside. Birds, cameras, trucks, cars, litter. It was overwhelming. She  got up and started walking back inside when she saw her reflection. Her once green eyes, now brown. Dried, stained, and brittle lips. And a huge bruise the size of a baseball just over her boob. She sighed and walked inside to the shitty air conditioning.

She sat in the lobby playing with her fingers. She noticed Logan talking to another girl, the same way he did with her. She had no idea that this was wrong. After all she had been taught All her life that this is the way it's supposed to be. She sighed once more and sat outside hoping Daniel would show up. She sat next to an old man.

"New round here?" He asked. "Yeah. What about you?" She asked politely. "20 years." He said. "Dok you think I will ever leave this place sir?" Charlie questioned, hoping that he would have an answer. Even commanders sarcastic answers were better than nothing.

"You can always pray. Pray to gold that he will be here for you and support you. Pray that you will find the family to sponsor you out of here." He said hopefully. "Thank you sir." She said quietly. "Oh, please child." He started. "Call me Oni." He said. "Okay Oni." She smiled as Daniels van pulled up.

He hopped out of the car and eyed Charlie before she even noticed. "Looks like you already found him." Oni said quietly.

Daniel noticed her eyes as she let the sun peice through them, so he came a little faster. "Good morning princess." He said making her look up. "What's a princess?" She asked. "You." He said smiling.

Daniel helped her stand up out of the shade that covered her body and instantly gave her a hug. She flinched in pain. He looked her up and down to find the cause and he did. "Charlie what happened?" He asked.

She looked down. "Am I useless?" She asked quietly. "No. Absolutely not." Daniel said. "Well, I got in a fight with one of the girls." Charlie answered. "Did you win at least?" He asked hopeful. She nodded.

"Daniel come. On!" Jack hollered from the van. "I got to go. But I'll come back later." Daniel said hugging her one more time. "Bye." She said sadly. Could Charlie be catching feelings? What are feelings?

Charlie stood there broken hearted as he walked twards the van, looking back a few times to flash a smile.

Before he could drive off d aniel looked out the window to see Logan attempt to take her hand. She whipped her hand out of his and walked off. Maybe Daniel has a chance.

Commanders plan isn't working as fast as he would like. He knows Logan is no good, and part of him feels bad for using Charlie like this considering he was her sick, father figure growing up. Daniel is who he wants. But he may not get him.
