Lucas Pov
"I'm moving back home." I said at the dinner table.
"No daddy stay here!" Luna said.
"Why you wanna leave?" India said with an attitude.
"I'm not going forward in anything living here. We're not working towards getting back together so it's pointless to spend my life with you. Also if I want somebody, they not gon be ok with me staying with you."
"But why would you leave us, we got a whole way of living now." India said.
"India you can take care of the kids on your own. I only came because you was in grief, barely taking care of the kids. But now you're up and running"
"You're doing this because ... you know what, this isn't something we need to be talking about in front of the kids." She said rolling her eyes and continuing to eat.
We finished up eating in silence with the exception of Isaac making noises.
India Pov
Once dinner was finished, I cleaned the kitchen as Lucas got the kids ready for bed.
Once they were up in bed ,I kissed them goodnight and spent a good few minutes rocking Isaac to sleep.
Once Issac was sleep, I spoke with Lucas.
"So you leaving cause I don't want to date you? We acted like we was together until you wanted to start getting distant with me, that wasn't enough? A title is that important to you" I said as he sat on the sofa watching tv.
" It's not the title that's important, its the principle. Cause you can very much act like we in a relationship but its the fact you can turn around and start dating someone else and I can't get mad cause we was never nothing we was just acting like it."He said after pausing the tv.
" so you're ok with breaking the family we built together all cause I don't want to date?" I asked.
"See what you said the family we built, it's almost a year and I have been faithful to you even though we aren't together, I have stepped up to fill Keith shoes for you and the kids, and I've been treating you better. I told you I wanted to prove to you how much I truly love you. And that's all I have been doing. So why not just be with me."
"Alright." I said.
"Now don't be trying to date me cause I threatened to leave and you just trying to hush me." He said.
"Nah thats not the case, you're right and its time we do give us another chance." I said.
"Good now come watch this movie with me." He said smirking.
