"I swear when you shave all your facial hair off, you turn to a whole ass teenager." I said walking into the bathroom , while Keith was in there .
He chuckled and said "Coming from the one who still looks 19."
"Lol you think I still look 19 baby." I said blushing.
"Yea, ya ass don't age." He said grabbing me and kissing my forehead .
"I love you ." I said.
"I love you more." He said.
"Do we really have to go to this thing tonight?" I said pouting my lips.
"Its an appearance We have to make , but if you don't wanna go we don't have to." He said looking down at me and playing with my lip that I poked out.
"I guess we can go. Just for the check." I said.
He gave me a kiss and we continued getting ready.
"Daddy and Mommy, be safe. Have fun but not too much. Don't drink and drive. Don't text and drive. I love you." Luna said before we got ready to leave.
"I love you too."Keith said hugging and kissing her cheek.
"I love you to baby." I said giving her a kiss.
"Luh you mahme and daddy." Lana said.
"Love you too." We said in unison and took turns giving her a kiss.
"Love you Isaac." We said in unison, both kissing his forehead.
Keith and I was out after that.
We get to the club, Keith and I had a weird feeling about the place it wasn't a high class club , but hey we here to get paid.
Going in and hanging in there for a while it became real fun.
I'm dancing on Keith , we had a few drinks , and good music was playing. Friends showed up too.
"You ready to go now?"I said kissing on his cheek.
"Yea in a few. Elijah supposed to be bringing back a drink for us."Keith said looking around for him.
"Ok baby." I said as I wrapped my arms around him and rested my head on his chest.
I looked at me and He kissed me ,which turned to a long passionate one.
Our kiss was disturbed when we heard everyone screaming and running.
It was the sound of gunshots.
I'm tryna grab my stuff, and Keith was holding on to protect me. We're running and out of Nowhere, Keith's weight pulled us back and we was both on the ground. "Baby get up ." I said.
"I love you India." He said.
"Ok I love you too, but let's go."
He didn't say anything he was just making noises like he was in pain.
I turned my body towards him so I was facing him.
He was shot, right in his lower stomach on the left.
"Baby I love you please don't give up." "I love you India."
"Stay with me baby." She said kissing my lips as tears went down her face, I was crying to. "I love you Mom."
"Baby just stay up and you can tell her." India said kissing me again "I love you dad."
India kept kissing me as she cried. "I love you Luna Isabelle, Lana Isabella, and Isaac Tyree."
"Keith stay with me! Don't leave me! Did somebody call 911?!!" "I love you Skylar-Drew,Kaylan,and Kevin."
"Baby we got a family to take care of, you can't go." I didn't know what hurts more, being shot or leaving the people who depend on me.
"I love you,I love you baby, don't close your eyes. Look at me." She said as I tried to focus on her.
Lana she doesn't know what death is, she'll never understand why her daddy didn't come back until she old enough to understand. Luna lost her grandpa who she loved,now she's about to lose me.
India was just boohoo crying as she stayed looking at me.
I was supposed to take Luna to Build -a-bear tomorrow. I was supposed to take Lana to the Candy Spot after that. I was supposed to take my mom and sisters out the day after. I was supposed to take my dad and brother to a football game.
"Don't close your eyes Keith, LOOK AT ME!" India said, her voice was cracked , she just laid her head on my chest and I wrapped my arms around her.
India was finally learning how to love again, she opened up to me finally. She became attached to me. I gave her full love and not pain. How can a perfect relationship end just like this. Now she's stuck thinking nothing good last forever.
All I heard was India crying nonstop, just boohoo crying , felt her tears soaking threw my shirt, like my blood was too.
Her crying died down, but I knew she was still crying
This was the first time I made her cry.
