Steadfast

Life in itself is without meaning
When I walk the path alone in suffering
But when my Lord is with me through it
I am absolutely lifted up in spirit
However much I need to bear
No longer does it scare
For the only thing I need to care
Is that I remain steadfast to bear
The time of testings will come
Harder and greater still
Without enduring it I shall perish
Thus, I must go through the mill
Preparing me for the future
To overcome the hill
For there is nothing better
Than to remain steadfast in His Will
