Victory Over Affliction

Pins and needles not just in the skin
Electrifying shots of voltage running to and fro
Excruciating pain in the bones and flesh
My every movement impeded so
Wind gurgling from within
Pressing out in every corner
Exploding the unseen
But protected by my Father
Am I truly afflicted?
Is it just a lie?
This is just too weird
O what a disguise!
I will not be defeated
Victory is in the Hand of my Lord
Though I may seem afflicted
I live by the Truth of His Word
