Turn To The Father

At wits end on what to do
With not a one suitable to turn to
I searched my mind for a clue
Then these questions came to queue
There isn't quite anyone
Who truly can understand
There isn't quite anyone
Who went through this lane
Then I realized there was
Indeed One who had
Faced far greater troubles
And I desired to know what He did
I asked, Lord Jesus
What did You do?
Thinking when He went to the cross,
How did He get through?
I heard the reply
And knew that it was true
He said, Turn to the Father
And I knew that was what I must do
Then I recalled, flashing across my vision
All the times the Lord Jesus had sought
In solitude for every time and decision
Indeed solely to the Father He brought
