I am afflicted in extreme pain
The body is breaking apart
But I know there is much to gain
So I must be firm and steadfast
I shall not take the easy way out
For Your praise and Glory I wish to shout
That You have been faithful throughout
To bring me out of the rut
The best and fastest way
For me to go through this
Is not to run away
But to endure it
To take the hardest way
Is not any easy path
But it is the fastest and best way
To win when it is tough
