Rejoice in Him

Agonizingly painful in every nook and corner
Piercing my flesh deep to the bones
My eyes turn upward to my Heavenly Father
As my neck wring as prickly stones
I do not understand
What affliction has come upon me
But I continue to stand
In His Truth most dearly
I would not allow this to bring me misery
For it is up to me to be merry
There is no other better choice
Than to abide in my Lord and in Him rejoice
