"Oh my god this is perfect!" Taylor gushed.
I was dressed in a long blue and pink dress and my hair was in two long braids. It's Halloween and Taylor convinced me to dress up as Princess Anna. She explained that Indina Mendzel, the voice of Elsa, was coming out dressed as Elsa to surprise the crowd tonight. However, she still hasn't told me about her costume.
She took a picture of me on her phone.
"I have something for you!" She said.
Taylor handed me a plastic pumpkin filled with candy.
"Aww it's so cute." I laughed.
I was having a good day today. I've been taking medicine and seeing a therapist for my PTSD, anxiety, and depression. We were always taught that therapists were fake doctors, but I was feeling better after getting help from one. At first it was hard to talk about because of my sworn secrecy. I told Taylor way too much already, but I spared a lot of details.
"Excuse me, is there a princess Anna here?" A familiar voice spoke.
I look over to see Shawn coming down the hallway dressed as Kristoff.
"Oh my god." I laughed.
He hugged me.
"How are you?" He asked kissing my forehead.
"I'm good. I didn't know you were performing tonight."
"I'm not I just came to hang out with you. Figured that would be the best way to celebrate Halloween." He smiled.
"Aww." I laughed.
Taylor took a picture of us on her phone.
"I'll send it to you Shawn." She said.
"Thanks, Taylor."
"Don't you guys just look adorable!" Andrea said.
"Thanks!" We both said.
"Shawn, do you want to come to the meet and greet with us?" She asked.
"Sure!"
We all went down the hall that led us into a room where people were going wild to see Taylor before the show. A lot of the fans told Shawn and I that they liked our costumes and they were all asking Taylor about hers, but she wouldn't say.
After the meet and greet I went out into the audience to keep an eye on the crowd. A lot of people were dressed up, more than usual. Many of the swifties complimented my costume and recognized me from seeing pictures of me and hearing about me.
Taylor came on and started performing right on time like usual. She was putting on a great show. After a break the music for Style started up and the dancers came up through the stage dressed as reindeer. Then, Taylor rose up dressed as Olaf. I bursted out laughing. I should have known!
The crowd was going wild over her dressed up as the beloved snowman. She was having a good time up there performing in the outfit. When the song was over Taylor took a moment to talk to the crowd and started leading up to announcing a special guest.
If the costume theme couldn't get any better, Taylor announced "Indina Medzel is here for you tonight!" She then came up through the stage dressed as Elsa and I lost it. This was too much! The crowd was freaking out and laughing. Halfway through the performance, the two ripped off their costumes to reveal normal performance clothes underneath.
After the performance, Taylor resumed the show in her normal wardrobe. When the show ended, I headed backstage. Taylor was changing so I waited outside the door for her.
After a few minutes, the door swung open and Taylor came out wearing the Olaf costume causing me to laugh all over again.
"Hi, I'm Olaf and I like warm hugs!" She said squeezing me.
"That was perfect out there!" I said.
"Indina put her costume back on so we can all get a picture together! Can you go find Shawn?"
"Yeah, I'll be right back." I said.
I searched the hallways for Kristoff until I found him talking to Vance Joy, who was dressed as a pirate.
"Hey, Taylor, Indina, and some of the dancers are wanting to get a picture." I said.
"Oh, okay! See ya latter man." He said to Vance before grabbing my hand,
We met Taylor and Indina back by Taylor's dressing room and some of the dancers were standing around with their reindeer costumes on.
"Oh, you look so cute!" Indina gushed.
"Thanks!" I said.
"Alright, are you ready for pictures?" Scott said holding up Taylor's cat sticker covered phone.
"Yeah, everybody squeeze in!" She said.
We all grouped together for the picture. Taylor pulled Indina and I into her and Shawn leaned down and pissed my cheek. The dancers all posed around us, one leaning his back against Shawn's.
"Got it!" Scott said.
"Vance come here!" Taylor called as he was headed down the hallway.
He came over and got in the picture.
"Awesome!" Taylor said.
"Alright, you need to be getting to Loft 89." A lady said to Taylor.
We all headed down there and the fans were eager to see Taylor. They went wild when they saw her come in wearing her Olaf costume again.
A girl came up and asked for a picture with Shawn and me and we agreed.
"I ship you guys so hard!" She said.
Shawn laughed, "thank you."
"Make sure you guys take lots of candy!" Taylor called out to everyone and she hugged a girl dressed like Taylor's "Shake It Off" ballerina.
Everyone was so happy and full of energy and I was feeling very okay today. Halloween was a pretty fun holiday. Everyone got to dress up to be someone that they're not.
"Thank you guys so much for all your love and support! Happy Halloween! I love you!" Taylor told the fans after she had visited all of them.
I followed her out along with Shawn and Vance. She wrapped an arm around me and pulled me into her.
"So what do you think about Halloween?" She asked.
"I like it!"
"I rented us a movie theater to go see the new Paranormal Activity movie. We can eat popcorn and candy until our hearts are content." Taylor said.
"That sounds fun." I laugh.
"The whole crew is invited. Shawn better come too, you'll need someone to snuggle up with when the movie scares you." She said suggestively.
"That's why I'm coming along." Adam said coming up behind Taylor and hugging her.
She laughed and turned her head over her shoulder to kiss him.
Shawn grabbed my hand in his and smiled. We all changed out of costumes so we could be comfortable before we got into the car and rode down the block to the movie theater.
"I've never been to the movies before." I told Shawn.
"Well you get to for the first time with me." He said kissing my cheek.
Shortly after we got there the dancers and backup singers showed up.
"You guys can order whatever from the concessions! It's on me!" Taylor said.
Everyone was getting popcorn, candy, and drinks. I got popcorn, m&ms, and a Diet Vanilla Coke.
"Have you ever watched a scary movie?" Taylor asked.
"No, but I don't think I'll be scared."
"Of course she won't be scared, she's a badass." Adam pitched in.
"If you do, I'm right here." Shawn said.
"Thanks." I laughed.
We went and sat down in the dimly lit theater. A big screen was at the front of the room. We sat towards the middle so we didn't have to look up to see the screen. Shawn sat on my left and Taylor sat on my right. Once everyone had gotten their things from concessions the movie began to play.
It wasn't very scary to me, but maybe that's just because I grew up knowing much worse. Taylor seemed to think it was scary as she cuddled up to Adam. Shawn wrapped his arm around me when it started getting scary, and I couldn't tell if it was because he was scared or if he thought I might be. Either way, I wasn't complaining and I rested my head on his shoulder. I saw a flash out of the corner of my eye and looked over to see Taylor and Adam smiling wide as they looked at the picture she just took of Shawn and me. I just smirked and laid my head back down.
My life might have been full of terrible things, but in this moment right now I couldn't think about any of that. All that mattered was this moment in time where everything was peaceful, despite the horrifying screams in the movie. Life right now was pretty great.
