Otis and Olympia rushed to the beach room as quick as they could, stopping when they were surprised to see Oona in front of the roaring ocean.
                              "Oona," they asked in unison.
"Howdy do! Ms. O asked me to meet you here to tell you to get into the water," Oona informed them.
Otis and Olympia both shared puzzled looks, Otis reluctantly saying, "Okay..."
So, they stepped into the tide, and beyond it to where the water reached their knees.
"And to zap you with a gadget, I like to call the mermaid-inator," Oona announced, as she finished her earlier sentence.
"Wait. Did you just say the mermaid-inator," double checked Olympia.
"Yeah. Have fun in Atlantis, guys," answered Oona.
"How are we supposed...," Otis began to talk, but then Oona had hit them with the blue beam of bright light.
They both flopped into the water, Otis coughing and flailing his arms at first when he was swallowing water. He sputtered as the salty liquid entered his lungs, but then suddenly it felt like air to him. He knit his eyebrows together in confusion, before cautiously fluttering his eyes open. He almost yelled with his eyes widened when he saw the royal blue, mermaid tail that was fanning out from below his torso.
"Otis! We really are mermaids," cried Olympia with joy.
She was effortlessly swimming around him every which way, him unable to stop thinking how beautiful her cherry red tail was.
"Hey guys," called Oona, as she looked down at them from the surface.
"Yeah, Oona," questioned Olympia, her bobbing up, with Otis managing to do the same.
"Just wanted to let you know that the dolphins will take it from here," Oona informed them.
"We get to be mermaids, and hang out with dolphins?! Best day ever," yelled Olympia, so loud that Otis touched his ears from pain.
"Yeah. Have fun on your mission," Oona softly smiled.
"Thanks, Oona! We'll try to get you a souvenir or something," offered Olympia.
"Aw, you don't have to. I'm good," Oona played off.
"No, I'll find you something. Maybe a shell, where you can listen to the ocean," mentioned Olympia, as she bobbed her head with her mouth open in excitement.
                              "Nice one," complimented Oona.
"Otis, I think the dolphins are waiting for us," pointed out Olympia, after one of the sea creatures trilled at them playfully.
"Okay, let's do this," Otis agreed, although he appeared unsure with his eyebrows smooshed together.
"See you when you get back, guys," shouted Oona, as they both grabbed onto the dolphin's fin.
"Woah," exclaimed Olympia, when the mammal suddenly started swimming.
Just then there was a clicking noise, and another dolphin had showed up next to them.
"I think that one's for you, Otis. Two of us is probably too much for, Sapphire," commented Olympia.
                              "Sapphire," echoed Otis in confusion.
"Oh yeah, I decided to name her Sapphire, because I figured there's treasure in Atlantis," clarified Olympia.
Otis looked at her strangely with his eyebrows knit together, nodding slightly before grabbing hold of the other dolphin's fin.
