After Kaya leaves my house, I immediately go to Nicole's. Nicole looks behind me to make sure Kaya isn't around and lets me in. "How was the party?" Nicole asks. "Terrible." I growl. "The boys were there." I say. "Doesn't surprise me." Nicole shrugs. "I think it would be best if I unfriended Kaya but I can't do that to her." I say. Nicole looks me dead in the eyes. "Do what is best for you. She's toxic." Nicole sighs and brings me some tea. I sip on the tea and lay my head on her shoulder.
The next day at school, Nicole wouldn't go near Kaya and they wanted me to pick who I wanted to spend time with, I chose neither. I didn't want to get in the middle of the petty argument. I stayed away from both of them all day because I refused to pick sides.
When I got home, Kaya was sitting on my doorstep. "Let's go to Damon's house." She says. I shake my head but she grabs my hand anyway.
When Kaya and I get to Damon's house, Maxxie is outside with a bunny. "Uh-- where's Damon?" Kaya asks. Maxxie points inside. Kaya knocks on the door and Ember opens it. "Wha--" Ember starts. "Just let us in." Kaya demands. Ember steps out of the way and we enter a gorgeous house. "DAMON!" Ember yells. I look on the couch to see someone who almost looks like Damon and she's reading a book.
She looked extremely annoyed at how Ember yelled for Damon. Suddenly, a blonde haired girl comes running downstairs singing a song from the Lion King.
Damon comes downstairs after her. "NORAE! SHUT UP!" Ember yells. "MAKE ME ASSHOLE!" The blonde yells. The black haired girl rolls her eyes and walks upstairs with her book. "Meet Savanna and Norae." Damon rolls his eyes. Kaya stands there, confused as fuck. "Is Savanna your sister? She looks like you." I ask Damon. He nods. "I AM EMBERS SISTER!" Norae yells. "Sadly." Ember mutters, walking upstairs. "FUCK YOU!" She yells. "SWEARING DOESN'T MAKE YOU COOL!" Ember yells back at her.
