Destiny's POV

School had just ended and I asked Rose if she still wanted a tour around the neighborhood. "Of course, let me just call my mother and let her know." I nodded and waited for her as she dialed her mom's number. Seconds later, she finally hung up. "Ok let's go." She smiled.

I took her to some of my favorite places around here like my favorite cafe called Pastel, book store, antique store and last but not least, the park.

"Here we are. Stonefield Park." said. "Wow. This park is beautiful." She said in amazement. "I know right." I smirked. The park had a lake that had a bridge that went just above it. Cherry blossom trees were few feet above it. Some of the blossoms would fall off the tree and land on the blue water, making it more beautiful. In the water, ducks, fish, and geese would swim around it peacefully. The grass was a bright green, making it stand out a lot more. Rose bushes were located near each bench around the park. There was a big basketball court and a playground too.

We sat on the bottom of the hill near the lake, throwing pebbles into the water. "So tell me about yourself." Rose said. I was actually pretty terrified about telling her about me. She probably won't accept who I am! "Well um, I'm 13. My birthday is on July 23, 2000. I like to do photography, act, dance, sing, paint, and play the drums and guitar. My favorite colors are all pastel ones, purple, hot pink, black and blue." She smiled and told me a lot about her. She's 13, she has a brother who's a year older than her, and a little brother. Her parents got divorced when she was just 10 years old. She loves to play the guitar and drums, like me.

"Well I gotta get going now. I'll see you tomorrow at school. Bye!" She waved to me and vanished. Before I got back to the orphanage, I went to my favorite cafe (the one I mentioned earlier) Pastel, and bought macaroons and I also went to Starbucks and bought a vanilla bean frap. I finished my drink and desert within 15 minutes. I threw it away in the nearest trash can. I walked back to the orphanage, which only took 5 minutes.

I opened the door to see two, tall boys talking to Mrs. Perez. "Oh good, darling you're here! I want you to meet these kind gentleman.

Niall's POV

Today, Ashton and I were going to the all girls orphanage that was near my house. The boys and I've talked about adopting a girl for a while now. We talked about it with Simon on the day we finally agreed to adopt a girl and he gave us permission. He said that it will show responsibility and it will give us even more publicity, which was weird because we get enough publicity already.

We had already decided that she will be staying with each of us for about 1 week. We told the lads of 5 Seconds of Summer and they were very excited about the news.

"Ashton and I are going down to the orphanage. We'll be back very soon." I said as I closed the door. We drove to the orphanage, it only took 10 minutes by foot but we were just too lazy to walk there.

I parked the car in front of the building. It was pretty massive. "C'mon lets go." I unbuckled my seat belt, opened the door and shut it. I locked the car and knocked on the door. A lady around her 30's opened the door, greeting us in. I walked inside, as well as Ashton, and observed the inside. It was pretty fancy looking for an orphanage.

"My name is Mrs. Perez. How may I help you boys?" She Kindly asked. "Hi, my name is Niall and this is my good friend, Ashton. We would like to adopt a girl." I smiled.

"Great. Did you have any age in mind?"

"Um... 13?"

"Excellent. Kim, Stephanie, Nicole, Destiny, Sasha, Destiny and Lily. Please come down here."

Footsteps came down the stairs. All the girls had the same hair and eyes color, which was blonde and brown.

"Where's Destiny?" Mrs. Perez asked.

"I don't know." One of the girls replied.

"Well, I guess you're only going to meet 5 of the girls today." She introduced all the girls to us one by one. One of the girls named Kim was my least favorite. She tried making her boobs pop out more which didn't really work out because she had none. I'm just being honest! I'm not being a pedophile wait her because it was pretty obvious she was trying me make me look at her.

We met each girl one by one.

"Well, that's all the girls. I'm sorry you couldn't meet Destiny. She's a ver-" She was interrupted with the door opening. "Oh good, darling you're here! I want you to meet these kind gentlemen."

We turned around and see a girl with long ombré hair and bright green eyes, like Harry's. She was gorgeous for a girl her age, again, I'm not a pedophile just saying. "Hi. You must be Destiny. I'm Niall and this is Ashton."

"Hi. It's n-nice to meet you." She shyly said.

"Why don't you guys get to know each other." Mrs. Perez said.

"So Destiny, tell us about yourself." Ashton said.

"I like to play the drums and guitar. I love singing, dancing, painting, acting, and photography. I am 13 years old and my birthday is on July 23,2000."

We talked more and more. She was a real funny and kind girl. There was something about her that wasn't right. It was in my gut that I need to adopt her. She excused herself to use the restroom. "So what do you think of her?" I asked Ashton.

"I like her. She's the one!" Ashton cheered. I laughed and told Mrs. Perez that we would like to adopt her. "Great. May I speak to you boys in my office?" We nodded and followed her.

"Before you lads adopt her, I would like to tell you her background." She said sadly. "What you're about to here isn't very.. pleasant. Her mother passed away from a drug overdose and her father was sent to prison when she was 5 years old for a murder and sexual assault crime. Both her parents abused her so much , that she's been sent to the hospital multiple times. Her father has escaped before and has been trying to get her many times. She's very sensitive and uncomfortable around men so it might take some time to be more comfortable around you lads. Please take good care of her."

"Of course." I said.

"Now, please sign these papers and once your done, she's all yours." I signed were she told me to and waited in her office. Mrs. Perez said she was going to get Destiny to tell her the news. Hopefully, she'll like us. I promise myself to keep her safe and make her feel loved like any other parent would. And that is a promise I'll never break.
