~3rd person POV~

Avi and Kirstie had to take about a week's break from seeing each other which made both extremely upset. Kirstie and the rest of Pentatonix had to start rehearsing for their upcoming tour. Avi, on the other hand, went back to the studio with his Sequoias to start writing again. They still kept in touch of course, they were dating. They'd face time every night, but both of them were so busy that they couldn't find time in their schedules to even go out for dinner. Avi would greet her every morning with the cutest texts and tell her goodnight on face time with a song. He thought about making that daily thing, so he thought of a bunch of songs to sing to her before she went to bed. Every night he'd sing to her and even though she couldn't experience it in person, hearing his voice over video was still enough to make her blush immensely. She thought it was funny how the video resolution couldn't even catch his deep voice. Sometimes it would glitch the system and he'd have to repeat it a few times just so she could hear what he said. Every time it happened it would remind her of how sexy her boyfriend is. She'd tell him that too, earning a blush from the boy.

Everything seemed perfect even in the dark times when they couldn't see each other. But finally both of them found a break in their schedule. They were set to go out for dinner in two days. Kirstie was ecstatic. Avi was quite the miss-able person so it hasn't been exactly easy for Kirstie.
She woke up this morning, crossing off the date on her calendar just to count down the day where she could finally see her boyfriend once again. Taking a second glance at the calendar though, she noticed she was hanging out with Scott and Mitch at a club tonight after PTX practice. She had forgotten about that.

Rehearsal was good, she was getting more used to Matt now. She was able to hear Avi's low notes whenever she wanted to and really, she found his low notes were so much more enjoyable closer to the ear. Both of them knew it turned her on so he did it more and more often when they would watch TV. So she was more accepting of Matt, but she'll never be happy with him taking Avi's place. Her and Kevin had planned to tell the band about her and Avi sometime soon, they just didn't know when.
After practice, Scott, Mitch, and Kirstie headed to the club for a few hours. Immediately she was reminded of why she was iffy about clubs. The smell of alcohol filled her nose and she saw many people grinding on each other which was not a pretty site for her.
"I'll never understand how you guys like this place," Kirstie said to the two boys in front of her.

"Don't be so hard on it Kirst, it's fun!" Mitch said. Kirstie playfully rolled her eyes and they made their way to a table in the back, as away from the crowd as much as possible. Scott and Mitch said they wanted to go dance so Kirstie just sat on the table, texting Avi as much as possible. He was in the studio right now so it was hard for him to answer her right away.

'Hey babe, I'm at this weird club with Scott and Mitch, they're dancing and I'm bored, miss you:(

Basscannonbaby: 'Aw that sucks! I miss you too love, I'm at the studio right now. Text you as much as I can <3'

Basscannonbaby: In the midst of writing a song, might be about you ;)

'You gush, can't wait to hear it ^-^'

Basscannonbaby: Sneak pics of the lovebirds if you can XD

'You know Mitch is with Beau Av'

Basscannonbaby: SHH

Kirsite giggled as she received her last text from Avi. For someone who was writing at the studio, he was replying quite quickly. She blushed, she must be important. Her thoughts were very soon interrupted though.

"Kirstie?" A voice called. Kirstie gulped and turned around. She thought she recognized the voice. Before her stood a tall, young, good looking man by the name of Jeremy Michael Lewis. He looked at her innocently and Kirstie wanted to roll her eyes so damn badly but she didn't want to be rude. She felt her phone vibrate but she didn't pick it up.

"Uh, hi Jeremy," She said, trembling. She hated this club but now she REALLY hated it. Being with Avi, and now hearing Jeremy's voice again was like a slap to the face.
"What's up?" Shit, he wants to converse. Kirstie quickly crossed her arms over her chest, wanting to show that she wasn't comfortable at all. Jeremy being her ex though, of course, didn't budge and continued to talk.

"Nothing. Scott and Mitch are dancing so I've just been sitting here. Texting my bo-" SHIT. What if he gets mad and tells Scott and Mitch? "B-best friend."

"Andrea?" Sure.

"Yep."

"Cool, how have you been?" He asked, taking a seat across from her chair. She scoffed and sat back down. You didn't ask if you could sit there

She told him fine, not wishing to go into depths with the man of whom she thought was going to spend the rest of her life with. Then, last second break up and leave her. Although it was a mutual breakup and they were on good terms, she felt more hostile towards her ex. Jeremy was one with words so she stays cautious as possible to not fall into his trap. At least Avi only uses gushy when he really means it. If she were to remember, Jeremy was gushy 24-7 and super protective over her.

"That's good, I've been alright. I know things have been hard since we split, but you still look beautiful as always," He said.
Kirstie scoffed again. Egotistical much?

"Thanks." She replied briefly. Just when she wanted the conversation to end, Scott and Mitch showed up from dancing and found her and Jeremy talking. Being unaware about Avi, they tried pushing  Kirstie and Jeremy together in many instances. She didn't want him to stick around but he did, only due to Mitch's request. He gravitated towards Kirstie quite a bit, dancing closely to her on the dance floor. Kirstie barely moved, she wanted to go home. She wanted Avi, badly. Jeremy took her in his arms and danced with her though, whether she wanted to or not. He tried to grab her waist and she slapped his hands. "Hands. Only." She said. Kirstie couldn't believe she was accepting a friendly dance from Jeremy. She didn't want to in the least, but she'd have to come up with a reason not to and she couldn't risk Scott and Mitch finding out about a certain bearded man.

She lightened up, though. As much as she hated to admit, she was having fun. She still replied to Avi given the chance though. A slight feeling of guilt was lingering in her chest but she ignored it.

She won't do anything bad, she knows the boundaries.
