Shadow was sitting by the cliff sulking as we hung about. I payed down on the grass and looked at the sky. I soon dozed off after everyone had gotten quiet.
I woke up and saw everyone around the fire. It was pitch black. I shot up and stumbled over to the fire and sat next to Silver. He was apparently in his own body, as his normal voice said, "We should probably leave tomorrow." I looked at him, starting to get a little upset. Will they try to leave me again?
Shadow must have had the same thought, because he was staring at me. He cleared his throat, gathering Silver and Sonics attention, and the nodded his head towards me.
I pretended not to see and averted my gaze to something in the ground in front of me. Silver sighed and got up. He walked over to a nearby tree after motioning Sonic and Shadow to follow him. I felt my ears involuntary flick down, trying to listen. But, I couldn't hear a whisper of the wind.

*FINALLY*
"We need to take her!" I said immediately as we reached the tree. "I don't think she could stand it again.." I added more quietly. Shadow glanced at Delta, who was staring at a rock. "Are you sure though?" Piped in Sonic. "I mean, the way she reacted last time, it seemed as if she doesn't really...you know....." "She's a skilled fighter though, she could be useful," Shadow murmured. "but how much do we know about her?"
I tried not to punch him. "She.....is.....good..." I say through gritted teeth. Shadow backs up a little, but instead of apologizing, he says " Let's ask Scourge."
I roll my eyes and allow my hand to glow teal, as does Scourge. I move him towards us and plop him down. "What did you learn about Delta when you came to find us?" Said Shadow. Source looked up at use and said, "And why do you need to know?"
"Just tell us!" Shadow spat. "Ok,ok. Um, when I saw her she was being surrounded by some dudes while she was crying over the body of some guy. Then after I heroically sav-"
I felt my face flush at 'some guy." Was he... no, Delta isn't like that. But...is she? Was she..in love with the other guy? Scourge seemed to notice my expression because he trailed off and looked at me.
I just turned away and sat by the cliff. "She would tell me the truth, right?" I murmur.
Right?
