Chapter 21- Quadrant A (pt 3)

In the morning, I came downstairs to get breakfast. Sonic and Silver were already down there, eating cereal. I also poured some cereal and sat down at the table with them. Quietly, I slid two of the tablets in their direction.
  "Take one, we will need it." Silver nodded. "Those did really help me when I took it last time." The little red pills were picked up and swallowed. I swallowed mine and felt the immediate effects. "Holy mother of-" I mumbled as I felt my eyes buzzing. "These really work." I tapped my foot and finished my breakfast and Sonic ran multiple laps around the kitchen.
   Silver went to get up and slammed his hand on the table very hard. This caused Tails to sprint in with a hammer, yelling, "What on Mobius?" In my fit of loud laughter, I showed him the bottle of pills, and his face showed pure horror. "Oh my god, this is gonna be a nightmare!" He exclaimed as he walked away. Shadow then came in, and he widened his eyes at the state. "What the hell are you doing, Faker?!" He said loudly. I tossed him a pill, and he just looked at it.
  "That explains a lot." He mumbled as he hesitated to take the pill. In the end, he rolled his eyes and swallowed it. Immediately he yelled, "Where's Sucette!?" The lynx skipped in as if on queue. "Cmon guys, lets go!" Then she slipped outside. Everyone stared after her. "I guess we are leaving." Everyone said goodbye and walked outside.
   Tails came running and stopped me as I went to go. "Take this." He handed me a walkie talkie. I nodded and said goodbye. I went outside and asked Sucette, "How do we get there?"
"Like this!" Sucette tapped her device and a small portal opened up. "Jump in!" I secretly rolled my eyes and stepped through first. I immediately felt soft grass. It reminded me of my first day on Mobius. When I met Sonic, Shadow, And the rest of the gang, we looked around.
   It came to my attention that we were not on the ground. There was a glass barrier at the edge of the mini field. When I looked over it, I saw what Quadrant A truly looked like.
   White and gold skyscrapers made up most of the area. Far below there where many Mobians strolling on the sidewalk. I turned back to the gang. Silver was far off, staring at something on the ground in confusion. I cleared my throat and gained everyone's attention.
  "How do we get down, Sucette?" Sucette shrugged. "I haven't been here before...that article said something about grass." She said. "Very helpful.." I mumbled and sat down. There where no doors what so ever. I sighed and went over to Silver to see what he was staring at. "What are you looking at?" I asked. He knelt down and pointed at an engraving in the dirt. "This. These engravings. D,T, and F."
I studied them for a little until Shadow called, "Uh guys...I found something." Everybody crowded around him as he knelt down and flicked a blade of grass. It didn't move. And smiled formed on my face as I realized this could be the way out. "Try to pull the grass." I suggested. As soon a He did, the floor opened up and we fell a few feet Into a lobby. It was on the top floor, obviously.
I looked around a saw an elevator. I walked over and press the button. "Hey guys, I think I found a way down." As the door opened, everyone ran in, and I pressed the button labeled GROUND.
Suddenly the elevator roared to life and practically dropped down to the ground, only stopping moments before we hit the ground. The doors opened and everyone let out a relieved sigh, scrabbling out as fast as they could.
When we stepped out we were in a fancy lounge, the floors and counter marble. Focusing of the sliding doors ahead, I trudged through the clusters of mobians in gowns and dress shirts, the others following. Finally we broke through the doors and outside.
The towering buildings where bigger than I'd expected. And that was literally it. All of these tall-ass white and gold buildings, with several alleys in between. There were sidewalks and roads, like a normal city, but this city was indeed far from normal. Almost every mobian had white fur.
Suddenly I heard a scream. I looked in the direction it came from and discovered over 20 flying robots flying right towards us.
