>Ciara's POV<
I lashed out with my katanas, barely missing a beat to my music. My blades slid against Roche's axe and clipped it. The axe was sent tumbling to the ground. Grumpily he picked it up and clipped it onto his belt. "Pass me a katana, lass." He said. Hesitantly I handed him my left katana.
He nodded and we both got into a battle stance. We were inside the house, training in the middle of the living room with Shadow, Silver, Sucette, and Sonic watching. "My money is on Roche!" Says Sonic. I rolled my eyes and returned my gaze back to Roche. I lunged and we immediately shed swords. I swiped my blade away fast, ending the shedding, and sidestepped. Roche feel forward and cursed.
I smirked and waited for him to get up before I pivot his attack and knock him back to the ground. "Give up?" I said while smiling. "Fine. Fine.." He got up and gave me my katana back. I slipped them in my holsters and sat down on the floor.
I looked over at Silver, who gave me a thumbs up. I silently chuckled and mouthed, "Wow..." He shrugged. Then I looked over at Shadow, who was looking at me strangely. I looked away, confused at his sudden change of mood, and decided to think of ways to make this time locked away better. We were going out tomorrow instead of today. Roche had caught signal of a swarm of drones chasing something, probably Delta.
I only kept that thought to myself, although Sucette was probably thinking the same. Underneath that fluffy hair and bow, she was pretty smart. I sighed and got up. "I'm going for a walk." I said. Everyone nodded and continued whatever they were doing. I walked over to the mini library and leant on the bookshelf, clearing my thoughts.
Suddenly I heard a quiet hum of hover shoes. I turned around and saw Shadow. I looked at him questioningly. "You're hiding something from us." He stared blankly.
"W-what? Of course not!" I protested.
"Don't lie, Ciara. Are you seeing that Roche guy?"
I stared at him. "The hell? Of course not! We're just friends! I would never!"
Shadow's eyes softened a little bit. "Then what is going on?"
I sighed, knowing there was not a way back.
" We came here because...Delta could be alive. And she's here, in Quadrant A."
Shadow sighed. "That's what was so secretive?"
"Well, its not like I could announce to Silver she's alive! I can tell he has feelings for her, even though he hasn't told me formally yet! Imagine the chaos it could cause if I were to say, 'Hey Silver your crush is alive tehehe.'. Utter. Madness."
Shadow nodded in aggrement. "So, are we going now?"
"No, tomorrow. Roche and Sucette, And now you know about it. Lets not tell Anyone else." I replied.
Shadow nodded and walked away. I sighed and slid down the bookcase to the floor.
Let hope the secret doesn't get out soon.
