As we fell down the hole, I heard the screams of Amy and shouts of the others. "AHHH!" It was pretty much all I heard. I couldn't see anything, and I only felt the wind. I suddenly saw a light glow and looked around to see my whole body outlined in teal. I was being directed somewhere by something until I saw the teal fade away and immediately felt arms embracing me. I knew who this was.
It was Silver.
I held onto him as we continued to fall.
Eventually the screams died away. But I held onto Silver like a Chaos Emerald. And then I saw them. Stars. They twinkled mockingly as we continued to fall through the now sky. We got closer and closer to the bottom, and then I was outlined in teal again and we fell safely to the ground. We had landed in a meadow. Fireflies glittered around us and the meadow was lit up by moonlight.
I was shaking, imagining a hole opening up again and separating us. I felt Silver wrap his arm around me. I leaned into him and closed my eyes. I soon fell asleep in the peaceful Moonlight Meadow.>Ciara's POV<
We fell and fell. I noticed the teal outline of Delta moving across, no doubt in my mind it was Silver. Then, I noticed I couldn't see them. And I also saw Stars. Not those stars that you get when you're dizzy. Actual stars. I was falling through the sky. Then I heard a call. "Ciara!"
"Shadow?" I exclaimed and I felt him grasp my hand. I couldn't help but feel a flutter in my stomach and feel my face grow hot at his touch. I glanced at him, but he wasn't looking at me. He was looking at the ground. The ground.
We were falling to the ground. I held my free hand out in front of me and squeezed my eyes shut, ready for Impact. But it never came. I opened my eyes to see my own teal glowing hand. Me, along with Shadow, were surrounded in a teal aura. I used my power to let us down gently.
Shadow rubbed his head. "What the...?" He mumbled. I looked around. We are in a busy town square. Mobians of all kinds were walking around, in some sort of market. Both of us scramble up and looked around. "The hell is this?" Said Shadow.
I shrugged my shoulders and pricked my ears. I heard shouting coming from a corner. "Listen!" I said. Shadows ears perked as he said, "This way!" He ran towards the far left corner of the market. I followed until I heard the shouting more clear.
"No! That's for my brother!" A small female voice, maybe age 1 1/2, said. But then a voice I knew all to well replied. "Oh, but he will get it, if you come with me.."
Eggman.
I growled and tried to leap out at him as the child replied, "Okay..". But Shadow held me back. "What are you doing!?" I hissed. "You don't know what could happen! What if we are in the past? What if this is an important event? All we need to know is what year it is before we do anything!" I looked over to where the voice came from to see a small white cat in a teal dress holding hands with Eggman as they boarded a ship. Before its door closed, though, I heard Eggman ask, "And what might be your name?"
And the girl replied.
"Ciara.">Silvers POV<
I set Delta down on the grass slowly and stood up. I have no idea where we are, and forgot my earpiece at the house. I scanned the area, but the only signs of life were the fireflies. No voices, footsteps, anything.
I headed a few paces forward to tour our surroundings. The moon was just rising. We were surrounded by forest for as far as the eye could see. Great.
Then, I heard Delta stir. I rushed back and knelt next to her. She opened her eyes and sat up. Man does she look beautiful. I gazed at her for a minute. Realizing what I was doing, I shook my head. Stop Silver, you creep. Don't stare her down.
"Where are we?" Yawned Delta. She stood up and gazed across the meadow. "Well, this place is beautiful." She said. I looked around. It is. I guess it just hadn't registered. "Honestly, I have no idea what happened. It looks like we've been teleported somewhere, but the others should have come too. It doesn't make sense!" I stated. Then I saw the gears in Deltas brain click. "Can't you fly up higher to see where we are?"
"Oh yeah!" I said. I willed myself to float, and so I did. I flew up higher, but no matter how high I went, forest was everywhere." I sighed and came back down. "Nothing." I said to Delta, slightly out of breath. She huffed and furrowed her brow. "What even happened?" She asked. "I don't know." I sat down on the grass and rubbed my head.
Delta sat down next to me.
And thats when we noticed the sound of footsteps.>Shadows POV<
I held Ciara back as the ship flew away. And then she collapsed. "I could of saved her! I could have. I should have." With each word she grew quieter. I sat down next to her, not sure on what to do. I put my hand on hers.
She looked up at me. I looked back at her. And then, suddenly, she hugged me tight and started to sob. Unsure on what to do, I decided to hug her back. After a while, Ciara pulled away and stood up. "Okay, lets go see what year it is." Wiping her eyes, she started to walk back towards the market. I followed her.
Ciara tapped on a female hedgehogs shoulder. "Hi, I seem a little confused, but could you tell me what year it is?"
The mobian smiled. " Why, its 2000 of course."YEET 1017 WORDS BABY.
