Chapter 23- Library

>Silvers POV<
I woke up to the sound of voices. My eyes fluttered open, and revealed a wooden ceiling. I scrambled up, feeling the wooden planks beneath me release splinters. I winced as several pierced my skin.
   Clenching my teeth, I pulled them out and stood. Sunlight, pooling from a window, caught me in the eyes. I stumbled sightlessly for a moment before the spots cleared from my vision, and I could see clearly again. Shielding my eyes from the growing light, I growled in annoyance and walked over to a room at the far left.
   Inside the room sat Ciara and Shadow, who were quietly chatting. Shadow looked a little pained in the eyes, but nodded his head. I hid so they wouldn't see me and decided it may not be the best time to confront them. So, I figured I would explore the place.
Carefully picking my way around piles of books on the floor, I made it to a small library. I grinned. I remembered those times I would search endlessly for anything on the Iblis Trigger, in this very type of place. A Library. I dashed over to the first shelf and pulled out a book with my psychokinesis. I read the cover with interest.
The Wraparound Universe. Curiously I opened the book to the first page.
"In physics and mathematics, the dimension of a mathematical space is informally defined as the minimum number of coordinates needed to specify any point within it. But what if we take that concept physically?
    "We are all confined to one dimension. But, there are more. Imagine a room of mirrors, and behind every mirrors, a universe reflecting all others."
  I quietly closed the book and scanned the spines of the other books. They all had to do with dimensional topics. I wondered over to the next shelf and read several titles under my breath.
Teleportation. Hydrokinesis. Electrokinesis. Cryokinesis. I couldn't believe how many different types of powers there where in this place. So lost in thought, I jumped high in the air as I heard a thump. I spun around and saw Sucette, bow bobbing. "Hi! Whatcha doing?" I slowly felt my heart begin to thump slower after the scare and answered, "Just checking out the books. There's tons!"
   Sucette smiled. "Ya like reading?"
  "Well, yeah."
   Sucette skipped over to a shelf opposite of the one I was looking at. "Mind if I join you?" I smiled and nodded before grabbing a book on Atmokinesis and sitting down on the floor. After a moment, Sucette chose out a book as well, and we both fell into the deep abyss of reading.

   Obviously several hours had passed. I got up and put the finished book back on the shelf. Sucette had left to get a snack, and I cautiously moved over to see what she was reading. I flipped over the book and read-
   "The Depths of Mechanical Technologies"
   I chuckled and moved back to my spot. I leant on a bookcase until a shadow passed over the aisle. "Silver! There you are!" I turned and saw Ciara. "I was looking everywhere!" She scoffed. "Sorry! I found this place, and I found some interesting books!" I smiled and used my powers to pull several books out at once. "See! Electokinesis, Dimensional Travel, The Past of Quadrant A! It's all very interesting!" Ciara rolled her eyes.
   "Cmon Silver, we are meeting up at Roche's sleeping quarters. Lets go." She pulled me up and we walked over to a room in the corner, where everyone else was standing. "Right, they are here. Lets cut to the chase." Roche announced.
   "I'll be taking you all out tomorrow for you to gather whatever information you need. I'll be there for backup in case we need to get out of there fast. Sound alright? It's not to hard." He called.
   "Sounds good!" Everyone said. "Alrighty...now that thats clear I am going to have my afternoon nap." Roche joked. Everybody chuckled and resumed to what they were doing before.
