Green hills. Blue skies. No fire. No screams.
I ran my hand through my hair. Wide-eyed, I looked over to my left and saw buildings. Regular, intact buildings. I couldn't help but smiling.
The others were already walking away. I looked at them in disbelief for a moment. How could the leave already?! I jogged to catch up and ended up next to Silver. After walking for a while, we came across a neighborhood. Then I noticed. Silver was looking at me.
I looked at him questioningly. He looked over at Shadow, who nodded. Then he whispered to me, "I need to talk to you." I nodded and slowed down behind the group.
Out of sound range, Silver started. "So, um....Scourge told me that...um.... there was this guy, you were with...on the Apocalypse World....were you....uh..."
"Seeing eachother?" I finished, "No." But this wasnt entirely true.
Silver looked relieved. He exhales loudly and smiled. "Okay. Thanks for clearing that up." He grabbed my hand and squeezed it tight.
"So, how do you like the real Mobius?" He asked me. "It's way better than the apocalypse, for sure." I replied. He laughed and we caught up with the others.
Shadow looked at Silver expectantly, and when he saw our hands, he slightly smiled. Shadow NEVER smiles at me.
I look up at the blue skies and sigh.I love the look of blue skies.
