Chapter 26- How? Where?

   I stared at the glint of my shoes as we walked back to Roche's place. Apparently he had to be 'in range' to teleport. I don't believe him though.
   Delta had agreed to come with us, though it was after a lot of persuasion. She walked next to Ciara, who was talking to her constantly, filling her in and what-not. She was still...off...though.
I decided I would ask her about it when we got back. Suddenly Roche cleared his throat. "I can get us back from here." He held out his hand, and the glass wall opened. Everyone filed in, even though Ciara had to push Delta through. She was refusing to go in for some reason. I followed them, bracing for any impact.
Luckily I just walked into the library, where everyone else was. Delta clutched the hilt of her sword, and she looked as if she was about to unsheathe it. We followed Roche over to the several couches. Roche sat down, along with everyone but Shadow, and he interlaced his fingers. "So...that lynx lass is gone, eh?"
Shadow nodded his head, and the expression on his face told me he was pissed. I rubbed my forehead. "I'm sorry, but I can't travel between worlds. You're gonna have to find another way out."
I knew that was coming. I sighed and nodded. "We can leave tomorrow morning, and try to find a way out of this place." Suggested Sonic. I nodded my head once again.
"Hey, Shadow.." I began.
His gaze turned towards me. "Why did Sucette leave?"
"How am I supposed to know? As you chased Delta up the roof, she side-eyed me then left."
"Did she do anything? Say anything?"
"I said that she just looked at me."
I groaned and glanced at Delta, who was staring at Sonic menacingly. Shadow walked off, and Ciara came towards me. "How are we going to get back, then?" Ciara inquires. Delta followed her over, looking away but her ears turned to us. She shifted her grip on her weapon.
Surprisingly, she mumbled, "I know a place..." Ciara and I turned to her as fast as Sonic. "How? Where?" My twin and I said in sync.
"Well...its just a rumor... but there's a place I've heard tell of a little while into the woods near the city. They say there's a...chaos emerald...in there somewhere."
Ciara and I exchanged a glance.

  'I guess I'll talk to her another time.''

OML IM SO SORRY, THIS IS CRAP AND ABAGIAGAH. I COULD NOT THINK OF ANYTHING, ITS SHORT, AND...AND I JUST CANNOT. I PROMISE TO MAKE THE NEXT CHAP LONGER, AND BETTER QUALITY.
   IVE BEEN CAUGHT UP WITH SEVERAL PROJECTS, REWRITING AND WHATNOT. I REALLY DIDNT MEAN TO LEAVE TOU ALL HANGING.
