Stop with the second chances

A/N: Hey it's the unorganized mess here, back to bring a new chapter. I'm sorry it's late and short.

We made our way back to the house. I was carrying the blanket and stuff in both of my hands as I saw Ninten, leaning against the front door way.
"You guys took long enough!" Ninten grinned.
"Excuse me, But you can't rush something like that!" I explained as we both approached Ninten.
"But it doesn't take 20 minuets!" He complained.
"How would you know? You've never been kissed before." Lucas muttered under his breath.

"So did you guys kiss or what?" Ninten asked. Lucas averted his eyes away and began to blush.
"O-of course we did, idiot." Lucas added quietly. Ninten took the blanket out of my hands.
"Aw, come on Lucas, you gotta admit that I was pretty good." I smiled as I put my arm around his shoulder. I could feel Lucas tense his shoulders up as he began to blush even more. Ninten laughed as he put the blanket and empty container onto the kitchen counter.

Lucas and I walked back into the house, only to be met with Tracy leaning against the banister of the stairs.
"Ness! You could have been a little more romantic!" She complained as she rushed over to us.
"What, it wasn't my fault that we kept getting interrupted." I shrugged.

"I was expecting you to save Lucas you know. Not the other way around." She admitted.
"Tracy, this isn't some fairytale. Lucas isn't some princess that needs saving all the time, he can save me too." I argued.
"But Ness, you have psychic powers." Tracy added
"Can we all agree that Lucas was great at saving him though." Ninten added as he walked over to the three of us. "Like seriously Lucas, I still can't believe you managed to do that on your own!"
"Yeah okay... it was pretty cool." Tracy admitted. Lucas didn't say anything, he just continued to blush.
"See, you are strong!" I complimented before kissing his cheek. Lucas quickly covered his face with his hands as it had gone bright red.
"Aww! You two are so cute together!" Tracy squealed.

Ten minutes had passed,  Ninten, Lucas and I were all sitting on the couch while Tracy leaned against the windowsill. Lucas was leaning against my shoulder, tiredly. I was sat in between the two as Ninten seemed to have something on his mind.

"Hey Ness, What was all that with that kid outside?" Ninten asked. "Isn't he your neighbor?"
"Uh yeah... he just wanted to talk." I explained.
"Ness, I thought you said that we wouldn't see them." Lucas added quietly.
"That's what I thought." I sighed.
"What did that kid wanna talk about anyway?" Ninten asked.
"N-Nothing really... just his brother." I replied.
"What about him?" Ninten questioned again.
"His brother ran away and that kid blames it on me." I explained.
"How come?"
"He got involved with Gyigas and things just went downhill from there but I can assure you, that it wasn't my fault that he ran away." I answered.
"Wouldn't you go looking for him?" Lucas asked.
"Well the thing is.... that this kid ain't exactly nice."
"Doesn't he deserves a second chance?" Lucas said
"I'm sorry but this kid doesn't deserve a second chance!" I shouted.

What I have just said could have sounded mean but the state Porky was left in after the fight with Gyigas was unforgivable. I do kinda feel bad for him though, it want his fault that he got possessed by Gyigas but it was Porky choice to get involved.

Lucas turned away from me, like he was disappointed. Ninten noticed and asked if I was okay. I said yes. 
"Ness, I've known you for a year now. I can't tell when you're not fine." Ninten added.
"Look, I'm not in the mood to start anything so please just ignore it." I whispered.

A few minutes had passed and Ninten wasn't liking the awkward silence.
"Ness, do you mind... Uh c-could you maybe walk home with me?  I- I just don't want to draw any attention to myself. I just wanna get home." He admitted.
"Sure! How about it Lucas?" I smiled, Lucas just nodded.
"You guys can't leave me on my own!" Tracy cried out.
"We weren't planning too." I replied "we'll have to wait till Mom comes home but that won't be long." I sighed.
"Yeah because it took you two hours to kiss!"  Tracy complained.
"It want my fault that we kept getting interrupted!" I repeated.
"I guess so." She surrendered.

Over time, I think Lucas gave up holding a grudge against me as he sighed tiredly and leaned against my shoulder once again. I looked down at him.

Lucas seemed like the person who would give anyone a second chance.  That's not necessarily a bad thing but Lucas  doesn't know about what happened with Porky and I would like to keep it that way.
