Revolting

A/N: Sorry if this chapter seems rushed. I wanted to get a chapter out before I go back to school.
Ness' POV

A spear had been shot through Lucas' stomach.

He couldn't stop crying.

All of a sudden, Porky reached to Lucas' back and pulled out the spear with the working metal hand.

Blood began to spill though Lucas' fingers and a pool of blood started to form underneath him. Lucas fell to his knees as he couldn't help but stare at the large bleeding wound in shock. Lucas' expression was blank and horrified. His silence was scaring me.

Without warning, all of the lights in the room flickered on and I managed to free my self from the rope that stopped me from getting to Lucas.

"LUCAS!!" I shouted as I ran over to him with tears in my eyes. "Lucas... Lucas listen to me! You're going to okay!" I cried as I hugged him desperately. Lucas didn't reply. He just fell into my arms lifelessly. I began to panic as Lucas wasn't answering me.

As fast as I could, I readied a life-up to heal him. I was about to put my hand to Lucas' bloody wound but he took a tight hold on my wrist to stop me.

"Lucas! What are you doing!?" I shouted.
"You should save it for someone more important." Lucas said.
"Yeah! Ness he's right!" Porky interrupted happily.
"SHUT UP!" I cried "Shut up, shut up, shut up!!"
"Ness... my time with you has been the best time of my life... so please-"
"Can you hurry up and die already?" Porky sighed.
"No! I'm not letting you die!" I instead as I tried to free my hand from Lucas' hold.

With the energy that Lucas had left, he gave me one final hug as he cried quietly onto my shoulder.

Now was my chance. I gently put my hand to Lucas' stomach and healed the bleeding wound. In response, Lucas gripped my shirt tightly as he cried out in pain.

"It's okay Lucas... everything is fine." I reassured as I had finished healing him. I could tell that Lucas wanted to reply but he was still coughing up blood.

I hugged Lucas gently as he tried to clear the blood from his mouth. I carefully put my hands to his flushed out cheeks and wiped the tears from his face. "Everything is okay, I'm right here Lucas." I reassured through my tears. Lucas was stuttering as he tried to reply.

Without warning,  Lucas buried his face into my shoulder.
"I-I'm not crying Ness, I-I'm not. Now is not the time to be crying... now is the time to be brave." Lucas stammered. It sounded like he was addressing himself when he said this. I paused.
"You are brave Lucas." I whispered before breaking the embrace and kissing him.

His lips were soft and gentle as they interlocked into mine. I could taste the faint flavor of blood. Luckily, it wasn't that distracting or noticeable. Lucas looked to me in shock as I continued. Slowly, I ran my fingers through Lucas' silky hair as I pushed my chest against his. I could feel his racing heartbeat against mine. I slowly broke the kiss before hugging him once again.

"I love you Lucas... you're sweet, kind and caring. You are the bravest person I know. I-I love you because you're smart, you're cute and... you give the best hugs!" I explained as my eyes began to water. Lucas quickly hugged me back. He didn't say anything. He just hugged me.

"No... No... NO!!" Porky yelled in anger and disgust "Ness! I can't believe that you've fallen in love with Lucas! He has no redeeming qualities, what so ever! I can't believe that you would kiss that foul mouth of his!"
Before I knew it Porky had hoisted me up from the floor with his arm. "Lucas is bitter and cold! How do you not see it Ness?" Porky asked.
"He's not!" I shouted in reply as I kicked my legs to try and free myself.
