A/N: Oh wow look! It's another warning for sensitive subjects and violence!

To the left of me was an important looking soldier dressed in white. He looked higher up in the ranks like a captain or commander. Someone who would know what was going on.

I noticed three badges pinned to the army uniform. Nobody else had them so this soldier must have been important. The persons face was covered with the common pigmask and silk, white gloves covered his hands.

The soldier was holding a wooden crossbow in his left hand. He was the one shoot the flaming arrow at Porky. I was about to ask what he meant by 'The two of us' but the soldier broke the silence first.

"You're Ness, right?" He asked
"Yep! That's me...wait! How do you know!?" I replied.
"I need you to come with me." The soldier said seriously.

Quickly, I looked to Lucas, who was still being held upside down and arguing with Porky.

"I-I can't! I have to stay with Lucas!" I explained.
"You and I both know that he'll be fine." The soldier reassured. I was reluctant to go but I wanted to know who this person was so... I agreed.
Before I knew it, the soldier quickly grabbed my arm and pulled me to the exit.

I took one final glance at Lucas. He would be fine. There was nothing that Porky could do that Lucas couldn't counter. I had confidence in him.

Swiftly, I pulled out to the last hallway, where the Chimera had previously stampeded through.
"W-Where are we going?" I asked
"Just outside. I need to talk to you." The soldier explained as he quickly dragged me down the silent hall.

Finally, We reached the outside. The soldier sighed before letting go of my wrist and looking at the ocean view.
"Who are you?" I asked carefully. The soldier turned his back to me and slowly took off his helmet.

I saw fiery ginger hair that could be spotted from a mile away.

His stance gave off a once adventurous attitude and with out his high-heeled, black, leather boots, would have been the same hight as me. Very similar but no what you would call identical.

It was Claus. Lucas' supposedly dead brother.

He was alive.

Slowly, Claus turned to me before sighing tiredly.

"I-I have to tell Lucas... I-I-" I stammered.
"No you can't!" Claus yelled as he put both hands to my shoulders.

Claus looked extremely tired. His skin was pale. Making the dark circles under his eyes stand out. His eyes were a slight shade darker than Lucas' bright blue eyes. However, one of Claus' eyes were damaged as the color had gone from it, leaving it grey and empty. Large cuts and bruises covered his worried face.

"I have to." I explained calmly.
"If you tell him then all of the confidence that you've given him will be gone! He will be broken, just like he was when everything started." Claus tried to explain with worry in his voice. I was willing to hear him out. "You don't want that do you?" Claus continued as he let his hands fall by his sides. I shook my head as Claus sat down on the hill.

"Thanks for saving me back there." I thanked quietly as I sat down beside him.
"I mean I couldn't let you die now, could I?" Claus smiled as he kicked his boots off and slid of his silk gloves. I noticed that his right hand was red raw with burns. It looked painful.

"What happened?" I asked.
"Just stuff that happened a while ago." Claus shrugged.
"I-I can heal you." I offered. Claus paused.
"What's the point?" He sighed "I'm not supposed to be here anyway."
"Lucas told me everything... he thought you were dead." I added
"And I should have been!" Claus shouted with anger.
"What do you mean by that?" I asked
"Porky couldn't bare to see his best commander die so... he brought me back to life." He answered.
