A/N: Uh sensitive subject warning? I think???

Lucas had only been here for a couple of days But he had made a major impact on the atmosphere around the house. When he leaves the happy atmosphere will drop and I bet it will feel like we had just lost some who was part of the family. Like an empty feeling.

Even though Lucas may have been shy in public, you would always hear him talking about something at home. I'll miss that. There's a lot of things I'll miss.

Together, we walked up to the house. I knocked on the door as Lucas looked up to the sky.
"Im gonna miss this." He admitted quietly
"Aw come on, don't upset yourself now." I smiled
"You're right." Lucas sighed. I grinned as I put my arm around Lucas' shoulder and pulled him closer to me. Lucas smiled. We laughed in unison as we waited. I'll miss that too.

Slowly, the front door opened. Mom was standing in front of us, smiling. As we walked in, I noticed that Tracy was setting the table for dinner.
"You guys took ages!" Tracy complained.
"You know that walking to Podunk takes two hours."I exclaimed.
"Wait! We were walking for two hours!" Lucas gasped. I turned to him and nodded.

All of a sudden, I heard a loud smashing sound. Both Lucas and I turned to Tracy. She had dropped one of the plates, letting it smash into thousands of pieces. The loud noise startled Sparky awake, he jumped off the couch to investigate the mess.

"Tracy! Be more careful!" Mom shouted "That was the last clean plate!"
"I'm sorry... I-It was an accident." Tracy apologized as she tried to push Sparky away from the mess. Mom sighed before cleaning up the sharp shards that were scattered across the floor.

I took Lucas' hand and lead him over to the table and we both sat down next to each other. Mom quickly tidied the mess up as Tracy pulled up a chair and sat adjacent to us.
"Ness, you don't mind sharing a plate with Lucas do you?" Mom asked
"No, that's fine." I agreed.

Tracy was staring at us intently as she grinned. She had obviously planned something.
"What are you smiling at?" I asked her.
"Oh, Nothing." She chimed. She wasn't very convincing.

A few minutes later, Mom put the last two plates on the table. We were having spaghetti for dinner.

I'm not picky with food at all. I would practically eat anything but there are some things that are down right disgusting.

"You two haven't eaten all day! So hurry up and eat!" Tracy ordered.
"We have actually." Lucas added
"I don't care! Just hurry up and eat!" Tracy shouted. Lucas and I exchanged glances before eating.

As time passed, Tracy's state and grin became a bit off putting.
"Uh Tracy, can you stop staring?" I asked
"Shut up !" She shouted. I shrugged it off . I hadn't even realized but Lucas and I were kissing!! How did we not realize!? It was an accident... I swear!

Lucas quickly pulled away, his face bright red. Tracy was crying with laughter as Lucas covered his face with his hands. Mom was even laughing to herself a little.

"It's not funny!" I cried out
"It is." Tracy giggled.
"You broke that plate on purpose! You planned all of this!" I accused
"Maybe I did." She smiled
"I knew it!" I shouted.
"Kids, there's no need to fight." Mom interrupted "but Tracy you shouldn't have planned anything behind your brothers back."
"But it was funny."
"It was not!" I interrupted.
"You two! Stop fighting!" Mom ordered "Tracy apologize now!"
"Okay whatever, I'm sorry." Tracy half-heartedly apologized.

Lucas still had his hands over his face.
"You okay there?" I asked. He quickly looked up from his hands and gave me a nervous smile.
"You're more flustered than usual." I pointed out.
"Oh, I-I ... I wasn't expecting it... that's all." He stammered.
