'Lift going up'
As the lift reached the sixth floor she got out and walked down the familiar corridor in Darwin. She didn't know whether she wanted to see him or not, her brain hadn't yet finishing processing last nights events.

She reached her office and sat down, the familiar stacks of paperwork piled up on her desk, she sighed, this was going to be a long day. An hour into her day of dealing with tedious amounts of admin there was a knock on the door and it opened, oh not him, not now she thought as the man from last night stood before her,
'Hi Jac'
'Hello fletch' she replied 'what do you want?'
'I was wondering if you had Frieda's report done yet' he asked
'Yes there you are' she said chucking a file across her desk
'Anything else?!' She snapped as he he still stood there, he clearly had something else to say
'Have you thought anymore about yesterday?' He daringly asked
'What about it? You obviously think I owe you something, I mean what do you actually want?' She said defensively
'I don't think you owe anything to me, sort from maybe not shutting me out so much. What are you so afraid of Jac? It's not about what I want, it's about what you want'
'Well I don't know what I want okay?! I don't know.' She shouted
'What are you so afraid of?! Let me in for once?' He pleaded
'You wouldn't understand okay. Don't try and get in my head' she whispered quietly. She walked out of the room leaving fletch stood there with a file in his hands shocked.

Jac knew what she wanted, it was him but she was terrified, for all she knew he was just going to walk out of her life or worse, she was going to damage him. She didn't deserve him. She rounded a corner as saw him talking to Frieda, curious of what he was saying She hid behind the wall listening
'Wow, so you've actually fallen for Ms Naylor, great going fletch' Frieda said sarcastically
'Oh don't you start' he said 'I've had enough earache from Jac earlier, Theres something bothering her, she's afraid and I want to know what and why. She doesn't believe I actually care'
'Don't tell me you kissed her fletch?' Frieda said accusingly, she saw the sheepish look on his face 'oh god you did, well done'
'I want her to know she doesn't have to be strong and defensive around me, I'm here for her. I love her. To me she's perfect'
'If this is what you really want fletch then fight for her. Fight for her fletch'
'I will, I'm not giving up, I won't walk away or turn my back from her. Not now. Not ever'
Jac heard these words and her heart skipped a beat, he loved her? He said she was perfect? Was this a practical joke? No one says these things about her. But when she saw the look on his face she knew he was serious. She knew what she wanted.
She walked past
'Fletch I'd like a word with you in my office' she said 'I've just got to check on a patient but then I'll be there. Meet me there' and with that she walked off without waiting for an answer
Fletch groaned, sure he was about to get absolutely slaughtered by her
'Well have fun fletcher, try to come out alive, believe it or not I actually enjoy your company' Frieda laughed
He sighed and began to walk in the direction of her office.

He stood in there for what seemed like ages, he was about to give up and leave when he heard the door open and shut and then Jac was stood behind him. He opened his mouth to speak but Jac silenced him.
'I know what I want' she said
'Really?' He questioned sceptically 'so do I'
'Then prove it' She said 'fight for it'
He stepped closer towards her, uncertainty clear in his eyes.
'Do it' she whispered, looking him dead in the eye. His lips crashed against hers, this time hers returned the urges, both of them acting as if they were sharing the last of the oxygen on the planet.
'You said I was perfect' she whispered 'did you mean that'
'Yes, every damn word' he replied, stating into the abyss that were her eyes. It felt like there was an electrical current flying through them. Her heat was racing, her breathing unsteady,

this was so wrong, but it felt so right.
