Warning to those who read this chapter. The end is rather dark and I thought that putting a warning in the beginning would let everyone know that I am not going to be nice to Lucy in this chapter. Things will get better but only after they hit rock bottom. DISCLAIMER that there will be blood and mentions of rape, you have been warned.

Lucy clenched her eyes shut tightly as they were suddenly invaded by a bright burning light. The cuffs around her wrists kept her from moving much from how tightly they were placed on. Sitting in a chair that her ankles were cuffed to as well, Lucy fought back nausea as her chair was knocked over to the ground, bringing her down with it. They had been here for hours, interrogating the blonde for reasons unknown to her. They kept talking about something called The Nova and she had told them multiple times that she had no clue what they were talking about.
The woman seemed to be the one in charge, at least from her stand point. Over the course of a few hours, she had met quite a few different mages, all of them being male except for the one female that was currently pulling on her hair to grab her attention. Lucy growled out a warning as the female grabbed at her hair again, pulling on the blonde locks before settling back down in front of Lucy.
"Now little dragon, that I have your attention back on me, I'll ask you again. Where is it?" The woman asked for the millionth time in the last hour.
Lucy rolled her eyes, shrugging with her shoulders clearly done with this. The woman didn't like this and grabbed the side of Lucy's face. Her fingernails felt sharp against her skin as her hands held her in place. The slight edge in the female's voice had Lucy watching her as she stared into her eyes.
"Listen little dragon, I don't have time for this and I'm sure you don't want us to have to do what you're pushing us towards, but if you continue to play dumb and not give us what we want I will do it." The female held her head still, her eyes never once leaving Lucy's as she uttered her threat.
A grin threatened to spread across Lucy's face, the pathetic excuse for a threat not at all scary in the slightest. The small twitch of her lips had the female flushing in anger and her chair was once again cast to the ground.
"Do you guys do anything else besides throw my chair to the ground and pull on my hair? I feel like I'm dealing with children." Lucy chuckled, watching as the female only grew angrier.
"Daemon take her back to her cell, she's obviously not going to tell us what we need to know. Make sure she doesn't get too comfortable down there." The female waved her hand dismissively before walking out of the door, her pride slightly wounded by the offhand comment that Lucy threw her way.
The man that Lucy awoke to see pulled her upright after uncuffing her ankles, hauling her behind him as he dragged her down a series of hallways. She memorized every twist and turn as he pulled her behind him, his grip on her arm tight as they descended a stair case. Unlocking the cell door, he threw her into it harshly, watching as her body hit the wall with a heavy thud. Lucy blinked back stars as her head hit the wall roughly. The man took her cuffed wrists and placed them into shackles that connected to the walls behind her before walking away from her cell and locking the door behind him.
The door he left from shut behind him with a metal click and Lucy was left alone in the dark.
She wasn't sure how long she sat there, but she fell asleep at one point with her arms held above her head. When she awoke, her arms had long since gone numb. Looking over at both of them to make sure they hadn't cut them off while she was sleeping, she sighed out in relief as she saw that they were still in fact chained to the walls. Deep purple veins stuck out against her ghostly white skin, something that didn't look healthy but she couldn't move them with the chains attached to them. Pulling against the restraints she felt her wrists shift uncomfortably beneath the metal before snapping at the strength of her tugs.
Lucy bit down on her lip roughly, her fangs digging into her skin and drawing blood. A whimper crawled up her throat as she fell back into the wall, hoping to ease the pain in her wrists. All it did was put more strain on her arms as they were once again held over her head. The sound of the door creaking open reached her ears and she was momentarily blinded by the light that poured out from behind it. A man she hadn't seen before came walking in, pushing a cart covered with a cloth in front of him. He stopped in front of her cell and unlocked it before pulling the cart in behind him.
The grin on his face had Lucy a little worried as he pulled out a bag and threw it over her face. Once again surrounded by darkness, Lucy struggled to listen through the sound of her rapidly beating heart for something to tell her what was going on. She heard the rustle of fabric fall to the ground, most likely it being the cloth that covered the cart he pulled in. She heard the man laugh and pick something up from off the cart, the sound of metal scraping against the concrete wall behind her had her skin crawling. The feel of something cold and sharp brushing over her neck had the blonde freezing, her breath coming out around her in quick pants.
The chuckle that spilled from the man had Lucy's blood running cold. He unlocked her wrists from the restraints only to put her in new ones. She felt herself being lowered to the ground, her stomach resting against the concrete floor. Glad that her neck was no longer exposed, the blonde relaxed ever so slightly. Her ears picked up on the sound of squeaking wheels that came from beyond the door. The sound of the metal clicking and the squeaking grew louder when they opened the door and pushed something into the room. It must've been another cart.
That hope died when she was lifted from the floor and placed onto something cold. She was stood upright on an examination table, the cold metal pressing against her skin and causing her to shiver.
"Now hold still little dragon, this won't hurt a bit, it's going to hurt a lot." The voice of the female tuned in.
Lucy squirmed against the braces they strapped around her waist and head, thrashing violently when they tore the bag from her face and she was met with the stares of multiple men all of which were holding some form of weapon. The female was standing off to the side, a hand over her mouth to muffle her hysterical giggling. With a flick of her wrist, they were sent to work.
Lucy thrashed in their holds as they stripped her down to her underwear, revealing her skin to them. She tensed when one of them held up a whip in hand and smacked it against the wall a few times before turning back to the blonde. Lucy froze when her eyes met with those of the man. They held no shine in them, almost as if he were dead. Upon closer inspection, she realized that he was in fact not breathing. Lucy's wide eyes flashed over to the other males in the room, realizing that they were in fact not breathing either.
Before Lucy could open her mouth to call over to the female, the man brought the whip down onto the skin of her stomach. A cry slip from her lips as the whip left a large line behind. Her skin broke open the second time it was brought against her skin, tearing a way down her stomach to her hip bone before it was pulled away. Her skin burned and tears pricked the corners of her eyes as he once again brought down the whip against her flesh. The leather cut a path down her stomach crisscrossing over her other cut in the shape of an X. He repeated it once more in the same direction before he lowered the whip and stepped aside.
Lucy thought that they would stop, only to whimper when another male stood up, a knife in hand. She screamed when he dug the blade into her thigh, dragging it downward before pulling it out and doing the same with her other leg. If Lucy wasn't being held up with the straps her legs would've given out. Through the haze that clouded her vision she saw that man step backwards and yet another one stood up to the plate. He held another knife in his hand, but instead of heading for her legs he stood up and angled the blade towards her face.
Lucy's heart dropped when he held the blade towards her eye. His dead eyes watched as he dug the blade into her left eye. Lucy's blood curdling scream echoed throughout the room. Lucy could feel the blood drip down the side of her face as he pulled the blade out, taking her eyeball with it. Her good eye watched as he pulled the ball off before handing it to the female sitting in a chair. She giggled and pocketed the bloody body part before she sent him back to his place.
Her head had long since grown fuzzy and her vision grew dark. Before she passed out, she saw the big man step through the door, his footsteps echoing throughout the silent room. She noticed that he was in fact breathing and before her eye slid closed she watched as he unbuckled his belt and pulled it from his waist.
