Lucy and Cobra collapse into bed, the long day ahead seemingly hanging over their heads. After coming back from the bakery they had stopped at a small bar for dinner and a small drink. Nothing of importance happened on their way to the hotel and there was no sign of the small dark guild that seemed to be terrorizing the town.

Calling it a day, they both fell into a rather peaceful slumber, only to be awoken a few hours later by a rapid knocking at their door. Lucy crawled out of bed, rubbing an eye blearily as she unlocked the door and opened it. Standing outside was a rather frazzled Mayor dressed in his pajamas.

"Miss Lucy I'd hate to be a bother, but we have a bit of a problem on our hands at the moment and you and your friend are needed at the bank down the street." The Mayor seemed a little out of breath and rather nervous for her liking and woke Cobra up to check out the issue.

Coming to a stop outside, they surveyed the damage caused to the front door. It was practically blown apart, glass and wood splinters scattered around the street. Glancing back at her partner, she slipped inside, ignoring the worried call of Cobra as she scoped out the entrance. Other than the door being blown apart, there was no other sign that there was anything wrong. If she didn't know any better she'd say that this was some kind of trap.

"Look at little miss Blonde standing there so high and mighty." A raspy voice called from behind her.

Spinning on her heel, she froze as she saw a knife held up to her head. The man in front of her had a rather large grin on his face. Glancing out of the corner of her eye, she saw two other men come from outside, hauling Cobra inside by his arms. She saw rather strange looking shackles attached to his wrists, probably magic inhibiting.

"You think you can just stroll in and take us out just like that? We aren't that dumb girly. Now what are we going to do with you." The man in front of her drawled, waving his knife in the air threateningly.

"You think that small knife is going to scare me? I've seen five year old's scarier than you." Lucy teased, watching as the man grew angry.

"It's not the object you should be afraid of, it should be the man wielding it." He growled, slashing at her face.

Lucy cringed as the blade cut through the skin of her cheek. The small burn that lingered made her laugh. The man stared at her in horror.

"I just cut you and you're laughing? What's wrong with you?" The man asked, fear laced in his voice.

   Lucy just giggled.

"Now that I have your attention...Corvus, now!" She shouted, watching as the man appeared out of the darkness and cast a spell, causing each of the mages to pass out.

Lucy walked over to where Cobra was, easily undoing the cuffs around his wrists. He rubbed at the red marks they left behind, eyeing the cut on her cheek worriedly.

"Shouldn't you tend to that? It could get infected." Cobra motioned to her cheek, watching as she grabbed one of her keys off her ring.

She called out Phoenix to look at the cut.

"You'll be fine, just a small cut. Keep it clean and it should be healed up in another day or so." Phoenix smiled, pulling back from the cut as she finished what she could with it.

"Thank you Phoenix, where would I be without you?" Lucy laughed, watching as her spirit rolled her eyes.

"Down one eye if I do say so myself." Phoenix giggled, watching as Lucy's smile grew wider.

"Ya know, you're right about that one." Lucy smiled, rubbing at her eye that was still the smallest bit sensitive.

"How's that doing anyway? Does it still hurt?" Phoenix fussed, reaching up to see if there was anything else she could do to help.
