Prologue

"Badi Maa... She's not in the room" Said a girl of about 18 clad in a simple green colored lehenga

"What do you mean... She's not in the room Roop, Look properly. She must be here somewhere only" Said Garima anxiously

Where can she disappear all of a sudden. That too in the middle of the night hours before her mehendi.

"Badi Maa... But, Trust me I've looked around very carefully. She isn't there" Roop confirmed

"Then... Oh Okay, Call your Bade Papa. Till then I'll check her room again" Garima said and walked off towards a room upstairs

Garima entered the room while trying to ring someone

"This girl, She's going to drive me crazy some day" Garima muttered

She opened the wardrobe only to gasp in shock

The wardrobe was empty. Except for a jewelery box, A paper was peeping out of it.

She opened the box and was forced to gasp again

The jewelery was missing!!

She slowly opened the letter to read the contents

"Shashiji... Look" Garima said, Her hands were sweating as she held a paper in them

Shashi retrieved the paper from his wife's fingers

Dear Mom and Dad

I know I've shocked you. I know you must be worried about my safe being. But don't worry I'm perfectly safe... And sound.

Dad I can't marry him. I tried to tell you many times, Many many times, Marriage was never what I wanted, My happiness lies somewhere else. And you know where...

So, I'm heading to chase my dreams. Somewhere where I find myself happy.

I know... Two days before wedding, It wasn't wise of me.

But I'm sure you guys will handle alright.
