A Week Later

Paul groaned and sat up. He was in a small cell at the police station. He sighed. He didn't even care anymore.

A few minutes later, a cop came by, and stopped when he saw him awake.

"Oh, hey. Are you Paul McCartney? Like, the Beatle?"

Paul nodded slowly.

"Yeah. Someone security guard turned you in because they were tipped off by a lady that was tipped off that you were a transgender woman."

Paul raised an eyebrow. "Was the person the lady was tipped off by John Lennon? Because, if so, he was joking."

The cop laughed. "Yeah, I mean. It seems kind of dumb. We couldn't find any records of you in the system as a girl, so you can go, I guess."

He took out a key to unlock the door, then slid the door open. He gestured for Paul to come out. Paul smiled, and headed out. He had his hand on the front door of the police station, when the cop yelled out to him.

"Well, you know. I kind of slightly believed you used to be a girl. Because, you know, you just act very feminine."

Paul wasn't sure what to say. "Gee, thanks."

The cop shrugged. "Sorry, but it's true. But then again, that could just be a trait of the common queer."

Paul froze up. He laughed nervously. The cop laughed with him.

"I know right, you, one of those animals. I mean, you practically have girls being dragged behind you 24/7."

Paul laughed again. "Yeah. The Beatles sure do love our birds." He went to open the door again, when the cop spoke again.

"Well, apparently word has it that John Lennon might be one of those weirdos. I personally think it's crazy, but apparently my daughter says so. Says that he told her that himself."

Paul was absolutely caught by surprise. John. Gay? He can't be. He's with birds all the time in bed. He was trying to sabotage all of Paul's relationships because he was jealous of Pau-

Paul's jaw dropped. John hadn't meant he was jealous of Paul. He had meant he was jealous of the girls.

"You okay, kid?" The cop raised an eyebrow. Paul had been frozen with his jaw hanging for a few seconds. He suddenly snapped out of it.

"Oh, yeah, sorry. It's just that, um, that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard." Paul quickly lied.

The cop seemed angry now. "You calling my daughter a liar?"

Paul quickly shook his head. "No, no, no. That's not what I meant."

"So you meant that she's dumb." The cop grumbled in a murderous tone now.

Paul gulped and swung open the front door. As he ran away, he heard the cop shouting after him, then the slam of the door. After that, Paul saw where he was, and started heading home. On the way, he heard a strange noise coming from an alley. He decided to take a look, and he didn't see anything. All of a sudden, something launched itself at his face.

A Week Earlier

"So yeah, I was beaten to a pulp by a gang, but I'm fine now! Kind of." John said way too enthusiastically.

George and Ringo just stood in the doorway with their jaws hanging and eyebrows raised.

"Well, I just need my stuff, and I'll be on my way." John dropped the sack down at the front door. Then he welcomed himself inside and motioned for Stu to wait outside.

After a few seconds John came back down with a big suitcase. He looked slightly dissapointed.

"Where's Paul?" He asked George and Ringo worriedly.

"Oh, he went out somewhere." George answered lazily.

"Do you know where?" John looked kind of desperate.

Ringo just shrugged, and John's shoulders dropped a bit.

"Come on Stu. Let's go." He tried to force a smile.

They started walking off and kept going down familiar streets.

Stu looked around after a while, confused. "Uh, John, where are we going?"

John looked up to see they were walking circles. "Oh, sorry. Uh, we're going to the more populated area of town. We're going to Billy's Motel."

Stu cringed. "That greasy place? With all those hookers?"

John looked at him with a sad look I'm his eye. "Yeah. Sorry. I know it isn't ideal. But it's cheap."

Stu nodded. "No, it's fine. As long as I'm far away from my parents, and close to you."

John smiled and Stu smiled back goofily. After a few minutes they were at the front of Billy's. There were tons of people waking around on the streets nearby. A large group of girls saw John and started running towards him. He grabbed Stu's arm and quickly rushed into the check-in office of the motel.

The man behind the counter looked up at him and Stu. "Can I help you?"

John was panting. "Yeah, we need a room."

"Ok. One room or two?"

"One."

The guy looked curiously at John, then Stu, then John again.

"Alright." He narrowed his eyes. He turned around and took a key off a rack. "Room 21."

John took the key and started to walk towards the door. The group of girls were still waiting out there.

"Oh boy." He sighed and looked at Stu. He grabbed his hand, and put his other hand on the knob.

The man behind the desk eyed John and Stu's handholding suspiciously, but then decided to ignore it.

John looked out the window. A giant group of girls was still wandering around the parking lot.

John looked at Stu. "Alright. Room 21 is around the back. I'll go around one side to get the girls away from you, and you go around the other side. Take the key and open the door, and as soon as I get into the room, slam it closed before any chicks can get in."

Stu looked bewildered. "Are you used to stuff like this?"

"Yeah. It happens all the time." John laughed. "Now, go!"

John pushed the door open, and rushed outside. The girls immediately became crazy again and started running towards him and Stu. They let go of each other's hands, and John ran to the right, and Stu ran to the left. John ran like a maniac, occasionally glancing behind him. There was a very large group of girls chasing him. For once, he was happy about this, because it meant that there were little to no girls chasing Stu. John finally saw where their room was on the back side of the building. He didn't see Stu there at all.

Uh-oh.
