Savannah and Rose meet Lynda. How will they react with her?

The Doctor's POV

It had been a few minutes since we found the Bad Wolf Corporation logo on the wall, and we were now looking around again.

"Blimey!," Lynda gasped and grinned, as we walked to a large window which showed the Earth outside. "I've never seen it for real before! Not from orbit! Planet Earth!"

I blinked back in surprise and shock, as I saw that the Earth was now mostly covered in white smog. "What's happened to it?," I asked Lynda, confused.

"Well, it's always been like that. Ever since I was born," Lynda told me. "See that there? That's the Great Atlantic Smog Storm. It's been going 20 years. We get news flashes telling us when it's safe to breathe outside."

"So the population just sits there?," I asked in disbelief. "Half the world's too fat, and half the world's too thin, and you lot just watch telly?"

"10,000 channels, all beaming down from here," Lynda confirmed.

"The human race," I huffed, disappointed in them. "Brainless sheep being fed on a diet of-." I cut myself off and thought, 'Of course, I don't mean Savannah when I said that,' before looking at Lynda and asking her, curiously, "Mind you, have they still got that program where 3 people have to live with a bear?"

"Oh, Bear With Me!," Lynda said happily, "I love that one!"

"And me!," I grinned at her. "The celebrity edition where the bear got in the bath."

"Got in the bath!," Lynda said with me, laughing and smiling.

"But it's all gone wrong," I said, looking back at the Earth, my face turning back into a serious expression. "I mean, history's gone wrong again. This should be the Fourth Great and Bountiful Human Empire. I don't understand. Last time I was here, I put it right."

"No, but that's when it first went wrong," Lynda told me. "100 years ago, like you said. All the news channels, they just shut down overnight."

"But that was me," I said, looking at Lynda, confused as to how this happened after I fixed it. "I did that."

"There was nothing left in their place," Lynda said. "No information. The whole planet just froze. The government, the economy, they just collapsed. That was the start of it. 100 years of hell."

"Oh, my-," I cut myself off and looked back down at the Earth. "I made this world!"

Rose's POV

I bit my lip and looked away slightly, as Agorax was the next contestant to be disintegrated. As he was, he screamed.

"That leaves Rose and Rodrick," the Anne droid said, after it had finished disintegrating Agorax. "You're going head to head. Let's play The Weakest Link!"
