Hope's P.O.V
I knew right away as the blonde girl with the really short shorts and a fake smile stepped on the bus, she was the popular girl.
The fake.
When she began to speak to Kelsey, jealousy rushed through me. Kelsey had been the only one who had treated me like normal person since I stepped onto this bus. If she turned out to be mean, I'm not sure what I would do. That's when I realized I had let Kelsey in to much. I'm the girl who doesn't need friends, independence is her game. I began to take deep breaths resetting myself. The blonde fake was giving me odd looks but I didn't care. Kelsey shot me a look that I couldn't quite decipher. I was to focused on shutting my friendly feelings for Kelsey out. She could be like the rest of the kids on the bus. A bunch of idiots trying to hard to look cool. It sickened me. Suddenly I saw a pair of manicured fingers snapping in front of my eyes. I shook my head trying to clear my head. I put on a cold face, I was to scared that if I made 'friends' to quickly they would ditch me and leave me broken hearted.💔
"Earth to new kid?!?" A sassy voice said. I looked up. Their stood a blue eyed, fake blonde haired girl. Whereing way to short of shorts. Her face was caked in makeup. Everything about her screamed fake. Her fingers were covered in rings, her wrists in bracelets, and neck, overloaded with necklaces. She had two piercings in each ear. She was whereing bright pink shorts, and a crop top that said, '2 classy for u'. I mean, a crop top on the first day of school?
"Yes?" I snapped.
Kelsey's P.O.V
I shot Hope a warning look. Nobody should snap at Tracy, especially on the first day of school. To my surprise, Kelsey didn't beat the heck out of Hope. She needed to tone it down. One minute she was with me chatting happily. The next she was taking deep breaths and shouting at popular kids. Gee, talk about mood swings... My thoughts were cut off my Tracy's reply.
"Listen, I don't appreciate it when new kids come in and act like they own this place, ok? Because if you keep talking to me like this, I will make you're life suck!" Tracy sounded like she meant it big time. Hope just rolled her eyes and took out her phone.
"Oh! So you're just gonna ignore me and take out you're rich kid phone and block out the world? Talk to me nerd!" Tracy spit. I shrunk into my seat. I know I should stand up for Hope, but you don't want Tracy as an enemy.
Hope slammed her phone down onto the grey old seats on the bus.
"Gosh, I don't know what I did to make you so angry this morning, but my golly are you just so pleasant to be around. Note my sarcasm." Hope replied. The whole bus took a giant intake of breath, including me. Tracy's face was turning redder by the second. I couldn't tell if it was because she was angry, embarrassed, or both. Before she could retort, the bus driver called to her,
"Ms. Mansfield, could you please take a seat so we can finish our trip to school?" Tracy just mutters something nasty under her breath and moved to the back of the bus. I let out a big sign of relief. Hope just stared out the window in silence until she finally said,
"I just ruined my chance of getting friends didn't I?"
For the next chapter I need one comment telling me who's point of view you want in the future.
Love ya'll😘
