Prologe

Hope Castro knew it would all come down to this moment. She took a deep breath and spoke.

"You can't treat me like this any more,"

her fathers face turned into a sour expression.

"And why not?"

He said gruffly, moving to hit her on the side of the face, but Hope dodged out of the way just in time.

"I'm leaving!" She swallowed. "Right now!" And with that, she turned on her heel and slammed the door. She new she had to be quick, any moment now her father would follow her in a rage. You didn't want to mess with him. But Hope had had enough! Bruised and beaten, she was and her father had crossed the line one to many times.

She walked down the streets of L.A. She had a peculiar feeling that someone was watching her. She didn't know why but she began to run. Dodging pedestrians holding shopping bags and little kids. She ran for what felt like hours, her heart beat like a drum dum dum, dum dum, any moment now, she was going to collapse with exhaustion, but he would find her, her father was there all along, watching her every move, some how she could feel that, some how she just knew.

Hope woke up in a hospital bed. She looked around, blurry shapes surrounding her. When the world came back into focus she saw three figures talking softly. She craned her neck so she could hear their conversation.

"Who will pay her hospital bills?" A man in a white coat asked.

"As I said before, I have a friend who is more than willing to take her I mean-" said a lady in jeans and a teeshirt.

"Take me where?" She croaked. Her throat was parched and She was very confused. "What's going on? Please don't make me go home, I well..... Just no!!!'

"Hon, we aren't gonna make you go home! I have a friend who you just might of heard of that will take you" Said the jean lady.

"Ok..." Hope whispered. The door opened, and Jennifer Lawrence walked in.
