I was happy. It was the weekend!!!!! Our first day of school was a Friday so the next day you could chill. I was bored. Very bored. Kelsey was bowling with her parents and I had no clue where Jen was. I was dressed in grey sweatpants and a muscle tee saying the words, "I'm not a morning person" which, overall was true. I sighed and trudged down stairs. My eyes widened and I froze. I felt as if I had just been dumped on by ice water. I heard a voice I knew all to well. I continued the rest of the way to make sure. I was right. My father sat on the couch with Jen. And then... They hugged! They hugged! I gasped. Jen must of heard it because she turned to me. Tears were already filling my eyes. Jen pulled away from the hug abruptly.

"Hope it's not what you think!" She began. I didn't want to here it. I was sick and tired of acting like a poor child. Sick and tired of running away.

"How could you?" I screeched the tears finally spilling over. "I thought I could trust you!" I yelled. I had finally felt safe, but now, with my father sitting in front of me... Jen ran her hands down her face. She looked tired. I almost felt bad for causing her this trouble. Almost. She opened her mouth as if to say something but all that came out was a groan. She rubbed her eyes.

"Answer me!" I screamed. Jens hands flew to the air in surrender.

"You know what?!?" I said quietly. "I don't want to here your excuses for your betrayal. I'll go pack my stuff." I turned and walked slowly up the stairs.

"Hope! Let me explain! It's not what it looked like! I promise!" She called after me. I stopped in anger and turn around to face her, she looked hopeful. Hah! As if.

"How dare you use that word on me?" I asked in a deadly tone. "You realize how many times that word as been overused? Because I do. And I will never believe those lies again! Understand?" I yelled the last part. My words echoed around the room. She winced. I promise. It's stupid. Overrated. And not true. And I was sick of it, sick of the white lies. Sick of the "love". Sick of life. I took a deep breath and ran the rest of the way back up the stairs.

I sat in the freezing cold park at 2:00 in the morning. It was raining. Great, just great. When I had gotten to my bedroom earlier that day after seeing my father I had immediately packed my bags, and snuck out the window. Of course i kind of ruined my dramatic entrance by slipping have way down the tree which was near my window, perfect for escaping. *insert evil laugh here* Anyway, so I slipped, fell of the Branch I was on, and landed face first on the pebbles below. Cuts covered my face along with bruises. I am skilled if you couldn't tell. I had wandered around for a few hours until I had found this bench which i am in right now. Rain was cascading down, and with only a tree for cover, I was cold. Suddenly the bench creaked. I sat up quickly, and turned around. A figure was sitting next to me. They had their heads covered in a hood.

"C-can I help you?" I stuttered nervously. The person turned to me. All I could see were their eyes. Black.

"What are you doing here at this time in the morning?" The person asked.

"You!" I gasped.

"Me!" He mimicked. He took off his sweatshirt and gave it to me. His eyes! Like black holes. I shook my self out of the daze and took it thankfully. It was mystery boy!

"I didn't catch your name on the bus." I said. Once I found his name life would be so much easier. Not that would ever go to school again. Actually, I didn't even know what I was gonna do. I mentally face palmed. I should of thought of this before I ran away. Oops.

"Kason." He muttered. I smiled. We sat there in silence for a while in silence, comfortable silence. I don't know how long we were there, but when he finally left, the sun was rising.

"I should go" he said quietly. I nodded and grabbed a pen from my suitcase. I beckoned him forward reaching for his hand. I wrote my number on his palm.

"I guess I'll see you round" I replied.
