Hayden's POV
I woke up at 4pm and Annabelle was still asleep. I find Mimi in the kitchen and she tells me she has a friend who was transporting horses to L.A. tonight. She says that he agreed to take Annabelle,me, and Sugarplum along and that he had a stable in L.A. where Sugarplum could stay. I thanked her and she ordered food for us before we had to leave. At around 5pm when the food got here I went and woke up Annabelle. We went downstairs, ate, then got Sugarplum ready. The man came around 6pm. Annabelle loaded Sugarplum into the horse trailer and we climbed in the bed of his truck. I said thank you and goodbye to Mimi. Annabelle was curled up in corner shivering so I grabbed my hoodie and gave it to her. She said thanks and we left Mimi's place and started to leave Tennessee. I let the tailgate down and sat on the edge. Just looking at my childhood pass me by.
It was kind of sad. I grew up running in these fields. I remember when I was little and Annabelle and I would play flashligt tag at night or when our dad took us hunting and fishing when we were 10. Just thinking about my parents makes me want to cry but I don't let myself. Annabelle says that I should let it out but I don't listen. That's why I refuse to celebrate my birthday. Annabelle will celebrate with herself but I can't bring myself to celebrate. I don't think there is anything to celebrate. Well for Annabelle there is. She was the little angel who could do no wrong. I was the mistake child. I've accepted this fact and I'm okay with it. I look back at Annabelle and she's asleep. I laugh and close the tailgate and lay down and fall asleep.
"Hey wake up! We're here.. where ever here is!" yelled Annabelle waking me up. I wake up and sit up. We're in L.A. I jump out of the truck and thank the driver. He says we were as far as he could take us. You jump out and I grab my bag then we walk down the streets of L.A. Annabelle looked scared and out of her element which I guess she is. I look and see a mall down the street.
"C'mon loser we're going shopping!" I yell pulling her hand into the mall. We were walking around when a guy runs into Annabelle and knocks her down.
"Watch it dumbass. That was my sister."I yell pushing the dude then helping Annabelle up. We look and see a guy with blonde hair standing there.
"I'm so sorry. I was chasing some friends. I didn't see ya there." he apologized and I huffed.
"It's fine. Do you mind if I ask you something?" Annabelle asked the blonde haired boy and he shrugged,"Where are the motels and stables around here?" she asked.
"Why?" questioned the kid.
"My horse also we need a place to sleep." said Annabelle.
"Come to our house! I promise we aren't rapist." he said. Annabelle looked at me and I nod.
"Who's we?" I asked.
"You'll see." he said and dragged us over to a group of guys. They all stared at us.
"Guys is it cool if these two girls stay with us?" the blonde boy asked his friends.
"Yea sure." said a guy with really blue eyes... haha my hair's bluer thou!
"Same." said a tan guy with brown hair.
"Fine with me." said an asian looking guy.
"I'm down." said a paler guy with brown hair.
"Sounds great." said a boy that looked like a younger version of the blue eyed guy.
"Yay!" yelled the blonde boy,"I'm Jack J. and you two are.." he said sticking out his hand for us to shake.
"Annabelle Lee or just Annabelle." said Annabelle shaking his hand.
"Hayden Rae or just Hayden." I said mocking Annabelle and shaking his hand. She glared at me and I shrugged.
"I'm Nash." said the guy with blue eyes.
"I'm Cameron." said the tan guy with brown hair.
"I'm Carter." said the asian guy.
"I'm Jack G." said the pale guy with brown hair.
"I'm Hayes." said the younger guy. We said hey and all shook hands.
"Hey can I borrow someone's phone?" I asked.
"Here use mine." said Cameron handing me his phone. I say thanks then walk away from the group. I call the dude that drove us here. He had the number for his company stamped on the side of his truck and I remembered it. He said that since I was friends with Mimi, he would keep Sugarplum in his stables at a discount. It was only $400 a month. Looks like I need to find a new place to work.. He gave me the address and stuff then I said thank you and goodbye. I walk back over and hand Cameron his phone back.
"Hey An. I talked with a guy and I found Sugarplum a nice home. She's still your horse of course. I have the address and everything." I tell Annabelle. I decided not to tell her about the cost. I don't want her to worry about it.
"Thanks Hayden!" Annabelle yelled and hug me.
"So do you guys want to go home?" asked Nash and we all agreed. We went to the boys cars. It was Nash, Cameron, Me, Annabelle, and Hayes in Nash's car and the Jacks, Hayes, and Carter in the other car. We drove to this really nice house.
"Wow. This is so nice." said Annabelle said looking at the house.
"Thanks," said Nash,"c'mon and I'll show you guys y'alls room." He walked in and we followed him upstairs and into a bedroom. It was clean and there was a bed with white sheets,"Y'all can decorate if you want." he said then left. Annabelle crawled into the bed and fell asleep. I grab my backpack and head downstairs.
"Where are you going?" asked Cameron. I turn and see him and the guys all sitting on a couch.
"I'm going to find another stri- I mean find a job. I'll be back later. Bye guys" I say then left to find a new strip club in need of a stripper. I find one in downtown L.A. They hire me and I start tonight. I grab an outfit and strut out and do what I had to do. I finish and look at the time. It was 2. I was still in my outfit with my clothes in my backpack. I just had my black unzipped jacket over me. I walk back to the boys house. I was walking in quietly because I didn't want to wake anyone up. I close the door silently and a light goes on. I turn and see all the guys with worried looks then surprised when they saw what I was wearing. I run upstairs to my room and hid my tips in my bag then change into the clothes I was wearing before. I crawl into bed and fall asleep knowing that the guys were going to ask me about the outfit tomorrow.
