Annabelle's pov

I woke up and walked downstairs. I had tear stain cheeks. I don't know why but I don't feel love. There's a huge hole in my heart where Hayes was. He was standing there with the promise ring. He had it on a chain around his neck. I couldn't look so I walked to work. I'm really done. I've lost the only guy that I've loved. All the males I love leave me. My dad is the main. I wish he was here. I love him so much. I should've known better to let anyone in. Mostly a guy. I make it to the stables. Dan was there. He saw me and enguff me in a hug.

"I'm so sorry, Annabelle." I shrug him off.

"It's fine."

"No I'm sorry, this is all my fault. I....." I cut him off.

"You were doing your job, Dan. Hayes just doesn't trust me like you said." I said getting teary. He hugs me again.

"I'm sorry Annabelle. Anyway let's get Sugarplum packed up and to the trailer. The competion is today." I smiled and got everything set up. We got in the truck. Tyler and Dan get beside me. Tyler wraps his arm around me.

"Sorry Annie." I look at him.

"What?"

"Oh sorry, I should of ask." I shake my head.

"I like it. I just have never been called it before." He smiles and nods. He takes his arm off of me. Dan looks at me.

"Can I call you Annie too?" I laugh and nod. He cheers and calms down. We rode there laughing and talking. We got there and got the horses out. I got Sugarplum ready for jumping. This place is really advance. I mean big jumps. I look at Tyler panic. I don't know these that well.

"You'll do fine, Annie. Sugarplum knows what to do." Tyler said. I nod and get ready. I was at the starting area and the bell goes off. I was off. We do everything perfectly. Our time was 3.25 minutes. I sigh and a few more went then it was barrel racing. I did that with ease. We move to a new area. It was ten times bigger with twenty times the people. I gulp. Holy maceral. I look at Dan.

"Woah." He says.

"You've got that right." Boss comes walking over.

"You guys got us here, you know that, right?" I shake my head and so does Dan. We look at a picture from 1999. A year before I was born. It looks like my dad. The dude won and was placed here.

"I know we've never been here since......" Dan stop. I look at him confused.

"Since David Williams." My boss finished. Not my dad, right? No, he said he lived in Tennessee since he was born. Dan looks at me.

"He left in 2000 when his two daughters were born." My boss continued. "Moved back to Tennessee with his wife, Barabra Williams." Haha that's my mom's name. I then look at them.

"My parents." He looks at me.

"You are David's daughter. You and your sister?" I nod.

"What happen? Where is he?" I shake my head and looked at the floor. I was mapping out what I have to do. Dad this is for you. They call Dan and mine names.

'Well if you remember David Williams this is his daughter. I was imformed this like four minutes ago. David was one of the best riders out there. Let's see if his daughter can live up to him.'

Lots of pressure. I look out and spot Hayden looking confuse. She looks at me and wave. I nod that way and just get ready. Dan gives me a reassuring smile. I smile back and take a breathe. The song starts. We do everything and then a dip came to end the dance. Dan dips me and then kisses me. The crowd goes wild. I was in shock. I couldn't just push him off. We could lose. He straightens us back up and I look at Hayden. She was pointing at Hayes who was leaving. Hayden looks at Dan with hatred. She might be mad at Hayes but no one takes avange of her sister. We win. They hand me a flower thingy and took our picture. Dan arm was wrap around my waist. We walk back stage and the first thing I did was slap Dan.

"Why would you do that?" I said. He shrugs.

"I'm sorry I upset your EX-boyfriend. Or do you want to go back to the non-trust guy?" I look at him and then at the ground. I just left. We rode back. I pack Sugarplum up.

"Oh Sugarplum, what have I done?" I leave and check the time. 8, I have to run home and get change. I run home and get ready and leave. I go to the studio and did my dances with Hayden which we are doing Skin by Rascul Flatts. (The real video has them in the background.) Dan and I do a song that I don't remember. I have to deal with him cause he's a work friend. I enter the house with Hayden and there was the promise ring, on the table. I walk over and pick it up. I slip it back on my finger. Hayden watches me and sighs.

"It's beautiful." She says and I nod. I put it back and walk upstairs. He doesn't want me like he doesn't want the ring. I did something wrong I guess. I change and get to bed.

Hayes's pov

I'm a big screw up.That night Hayden was downstairs playing with Annabelle's and mine promise ring. I didn't her to see me.

"Come out, Hayes." I walk over to her. She scares the shit out of me.

"You know, this is a beautiful ring. The wording makes it so much better." It was just a sliver band with the words, 'I promise. Stay Safe, Cowgirl.' It was a lot of money but I didn't and don't care. It was perfect for the most perfect girl in my life. It hurt so much when Dan kissed her.

"Yeah I know."

"Give it to her again."

"What?"

"I'm not repeating myself." I nod and walk back upstairs. Annabelle was asleep. I laid the ring on the table.

"I'm sorry. Stay Safe, Cowgirl." I kiss her forehead. I leave the room and walk downstairs and Hayden walked beside me.

"Give it time." She says and walks pass me. I hope she's right.
