Chapter 18

Annabelle's pov

She's in a coma. No. This... this can't be happening. I walked away. Out of the hospital. Hayes was following behind. I punched the wall.

"WHY? WHY ME?! SHES ALL I HAVE! Why?" I crumble to my knees. I break. Hayes comes running over.

"Annabelle." He pulls me into a tight hug.

"She's all I have left, Hayes! She can't leave me." I said crying.

"What do you mean she's all you have left?" I shake my head.

"Not now." I snuggle into him. He stands and carries me back to the hospital. I fall asleep in his arms.

Hayes's pov

I carry Annabelle inside and noticed her shirt went up. YOU CAN SEE HER RIBS! I lay her down and check on Hayden. She was still in a coma.

"Guys, I'm really scared about the girls."

"Ones in a coma, what's wrong with the other?" Jack ask. I motion him over and lift her shirt. Her ribs were visible, her belly was so small.

"Can we measure her?" I ask a nurse. The nurse nods and motions me to follow. I pick her up and carry her to the scale. 71.5 pounds. Oh my god. I carry her to her sister's room and lay them beside each other.

"Excuse me, only family can be in here right now." The nurse said.

"That's her twin. I'm her boyfriend." Sam said.

"Sorry, we are contacting their Aunt and Uncle." We nod. This should be good, right? I kiss Annabelle's forehead.

"Ride safe, cowgirl." I walk out of the room and Sam says his byes. We walk downstairs and out of the hospital. I tried comforting Sam. He just walked home very fast. I sigh. This shit just got real.

Annabelle's pov

I woke up and it was 8. I sigh and get up. I kiss Hayden's forehead and head to work. I notice a change of clothes for me. I change and walk out of the hospital. I made it to work and told Sugarplum what happen. She nuzzles me. I was fine till the dance. I wasn't really into it and I did a flip. I went to far and before Dan could catch me, I hit the ground, hearing and feeling a snap in my left leg. The horses didn't notice so the trot over me, I got kick in the head and passed out.

Hayes's pov

I get a call at 5. Annabelle's at work.

A-hello is this Hayes Grier?

H- yes.

A- Well there was an accident with Annabelle Lee Williams.

H- What's going on?

A- Son, get to the hospital.

I knocked on Nash's door.

"Nash!" I yelled through tears.

"Yeah little bro."

"I'm going to the hospital, get everyone up there." He was about to say something but then changes his mind and nods. I run to the hospital.

"Annabelle Williams"

"Room 345." I nod and run to the room. I walk over to her. The nurse walks in.

"Hello, are you relative to her?"

"I'm her fiancé." She nods.

"Many of her bones are broken. She's multination. She's in a coma, underdetermined to wake." I nod.

"What happen?"

"She did a flip and she miss calculated and landed on her left leg in front of the horses, the horses ride over her. She got kicked up pretty bad." I nod my thanks and the boys come in. I told them and they look heartbroken.

"The only girls that we let into our house are in comas. Fucking great!" Nash yells. We took shifts with the girls. They moved them in the same room.

"Ride safe, cowgirl." I whisper to her.

Annabelle's pov

I'm in a pasture, not any pasture, my family's pasture. I look to my left and see Hayden. I run to her. She looks so confuse.

"Why are we here?"

"I'm not sure. These are the fields we played flashlight tag in." She says.

"Oh my princess."

"Oh my cowgirl." We turn and there are our parents. I run to our dad and she runs to our mom.

"I've missed you guys so much."

"We've always been with you." they said to us.

"Why are we here?"

"You need to wake up."

"How did we get here? Last thing I remember was leaving our Uncle's and Aunt's." I nod.

"You'll remember. Just wake up."
