Hayden's POV

I was all packed and ready. Today Annabelle, Nash, Hayes, and I were flying to North Carolina to go meet the Griers and tell them all the news. I was coming along because I'm like Annabelle's parent so I need to meet them. I haul my bags downstairs and them take Annabelle's from her and do the same. Our flight was at 8am and it was 6:45am now. I payed for everyones tickets despite the arguing.

"Ok. Everyone ready?" I yelled.

"Yup. Let's go." said Nash jogging downstairs.

"We're ready." said Hayes coming downstairs with Annabelle on his back.

"I'm ready." said Cameron yawning. He was just driving us there. Nash and I loaded everything in the car then we all piled in. I put in my headphones and turn on some music. Cop Car came on and it mad me want to cry. It was the song Sam and I sang after Connor picked us up at the police station which he's had to do many more times in the past 2 years. It made me remember that 1st date. I just held the dogtags that I wore everyday. I change the song so I'm not depressed for the whole flight. We get there and said bye to Cam and went in and waited for our flight to be called.

"Flight 134 departure to North Carolina is now boarding." came over the intercom. We al got up and went through security and all the bullshit then finally boarded the plane. It was me in the window seat, Annabelle in the middle, than Hayes in the aisle and then Nash was in the row behind us. I just watched L.A. disapear as we grew higher into the sky. I leaned my head back and closed my eyes and fell asleep with my head on the window.

"Hayden wake up! We're here!" said Annabelle shaking me awake. I get up and we leave. We get our bags and then Hayes and Nash run and hug an older looking couple. I guess those are their parents. Annabelle and I just awkwardly stood back while they hugged and all. Then their mom noticed us.

"And which one of you is Annabelle?" she asked. I pointed to my side where she was.

"It's so great to finally meet you! Hayes talks about you nonstop!" she said and hugged Annabelle. Hayes blushed and I laughed a little. She pulled away and looked at me,"Now that means that you must be Hayden. I've heard so much about Annabelle's overprotective big sister." she said and hugged me.

"Thank you for keeping my boy in line." said his dad hugging me after he hugged Annabelle.

"No problem. Nice to meet you Mr. and Mrs. Grier." I said.

"Alright how about we get back and go to the house." said Mr. Grier. There wasn't enough room in the cab of the truck so Nash and I rode in the bed.

"How do you think they'll react to the news?" I asked.

"Well my parents are pretty supportive of most things but to Annabelle being pregnant and them being engadged I have no clue." he said. I look down and hold the dogtags. I couldn't stop thinking about him. I missed him so much. It felt like there was something missing in my heart.

"He's going to be just fine Hayden. I know he is." said Nash hugging me. He's become like my brother over the years. All the guys had but Connor was still my Dad.

"Thanks big bro." I said. He nodded then wanted me to help him prank his parents. I agreed of course. We got our penny boards out of our bags then put the tail gate down. We hopped on our boards and kept one hand on the tailgate. Through the back window I saw Annabelle having a heart attack. She always freaked out when I did dangerous stuff. The car was on a actual road not a street so we were going maybe 65 miles per hour. We were flying! Then we turned onto a street and slowed down a lot and came to a house. Me and Nash hopped on our boards and high fived. Then came Annabelle.

"You could have gotten hurt!? What were you two thinking!?" she asked.

"That it was fun." I shrugged. She just shook her head and we all walked into the house. Than their parents sat us in the living room and asked us what's new.

"Well, mom dad, Annabelle and I have something to tell you." said Hayes. The parents sat in two chairs opposite the couch the for of us were sitting on. I held Annabelle's hand for support.

"Of course dear. What is it?" asked his mother.

"Well. We're engadged and Annabelle is pregnant." he said. They were both shocked.

"You're pregnant?" Mr. Grier asked Annabelle and she nodded.

"Well who's helping you two support it?" asked Mr. Grier.

"I am. I work." I say.

"So you're keeping the baby?" asked Mrs. Grier.

"Yes ma'am." said Annabelle.

"Well as long as the baby is supported and has a loving home congratulations you two." says Mrs. Grier hugging them both.

"Don't worry I've raised Hayes well enough so he will be around." said Mr. Grier.

"Yea. Hayden's already talked with him. Hayes is scared of Hayden." said Nash.

"Is that so? Hayes I raised you better than to be scared of a girl." said his father. Exsqeeze me!?

"Um you have never seen my sister fight." said Annabelle. Nash took out his phone and showed them a video of my best fights.

"Nevermind. I'd be scared of her too." said Mr. Grier. Hayes carries Annabelle upstairs and Nash goes to his room while I talk with Mr. and Mrs. Grier.

"So I see you have found someone as well." she said pointing to my engadgment ring. I smile.

"Who's the lucky man?" he asked.

"His name is Sam."

"Where is he? He didn't want to come with you?" she asked.

"Oh it's not that. He's in the Marines." I said holding out my set of dogtags.

"He's a brave man." said Mr. Grier.

"Yes. Yes he is." I said.

"Also where are you two girls parents?" asked Mrs.Grier. I take a deep breath.

"Our parents passed away. They died in a car crash on mine and Annabelle's 12th birthday. We lived with our aunt and uncle for 2 years but ranaway when we were 14 because they were abusive. Now we live with the guys." I said.

"Oh you poor thing!" said Mrs. Grier hugging me.

"It's alright. We're both okay." I said. They both wipped tears out of theeir eyes. I still never cried. I haven't cried since I was 12. I don't ever want to cry again. I have to be Annabelle's rock. They told me goodnight and then showed me to their guest room. I thanked them and laid down.

"I love you my hero." I said then fell asleep.
