Annabelle's pov

Hayden came home with Sam and they had matching promises necklace. I'm happy for my sister. She deserves her superman. I guess I don't. I get out of my empty bed. I walk to my closet and pulled out a pair of boxers and long t-shirts. I don't have work today or tonight so why not? I walk downstairs and into the kitchen. I'm not that hungry so I turn around to walk out.

"Not uh, no you don't." JJ said spinning me around and handing me McDoalds. I sigh. Almost. I eat half of it before saying I have to go when Hayden and Sam came down lovely dovely. Which is a lie. JJ nods and lets me go. I run upstairs to change and running outside. I ran to the stables and spotted Sugarplum. I saddled her up and took off. I didn't want to be around couples. I sit at the edge of the mountain. I heard footprints and jump up. I took out my pocket knife, ready to stab someone.

"Woah little Annie." I shook my head at Dan.

"What do you want?"

"To say sorry, why else?"

"Oh I don't know, to make me feel worse about myself."

"I did that?"

"Yep, everyone does. Even my sister who has a relationship with her dream guy. While I have to deal with you and Hayes." I look at the promise ring. I read the engravings over and over again.

"So you are back with him?"

"No, he just didn't want the ring. Like he doesn't want me."

"He said that?"

"No. But I know what he was thinking." He shakes and sits beside me.

"Are you okay?"

"Of course I am." I said sarcatically.

"Sorry, Annie."

"It's fine, Dan. I just want to know, why did you kiss me?"

"I don't know. I truly don't. I've never done that before. I mean yeah I've kissed girls before but never with me trying. Usually girls are begging us country boys to kiss them. You, you were different. You are true country. I've not seen one since I was two, your dad. Yeah I was rasied here. My dad used to co-own it but he retired a year ago."

"Lucky."

"How?"

"My parents are dead."

"David is dead?"

"Yeah. 2 years ago." He nods and sits back.

"Do you want to see something?" I shake my head. He laughs and takes my hand. He runs off with me following behind. I've got to say, Dan is a jerk but he's surprisingly fun and sweet jerk. I check the time, 9:30. I look at Dan who was staring straight ahead. I look that way and see wolves. They are beautiful. There's one white, one black, and many muticolor ones. They were in their pack when their heads snap our way. I grab Dan and push him down. I walked forward. They look at me. The black one walks to me. I bow in sign of respect. He nods and I walk forward and pet them. Dan watches from far with a shocked look.

"How are you doing that?"

"Respect." I said.

"Really?" I nod. He walks out and bows to the Alpha, I think. I get a call.

A-Hello?

H- Check your caller id.

A- Oh Hey Hayden

H- Anyway get back here, we are going swimming.

A-Alright.

I hang up and bow to the alpha.

"Bye boy." I drag Dan away.He looks at me.

"Do you want a ride back or not?" He nods and I jump on my horse and he gets behind me. I lookk him.

"You dance on horses, lets jump with horses." He tightens his grib. I laugh and take off. Logs were on the ground and he was scared. I laugh and got back. He jumps off.

"I'm never riding with you again." I laugh and put Sugarplum up. I wave bye to Tyler who's working with a new trainee. I giggle as the trainee doesn't listen. He waves me to the fence and I ran over real fast.

"Oh I love you and now miss." I laugh.

"What the new kid giving you trouble?"

"Yes! I see you are in a hurry. I'll talk to you later Annie." I wave bye and ran off. I made it back 5 minutes before 10. I walk upstairs and grabbed my one piece. I change to it and Hayden was standing there in her bikini. It was blue.She shakes her head and throws a camolage one.

"Oh no, I'm not wearing this."

I don't know how but I got in it. I look at my imperfect body.  I look at my sister's perfect body. I took my towel and cover my body. Hayden sighs and shakes her head. We walk dowstairs and Hayden had her towel around her waist and mine was above my boobs and below my butt. We get in the car and drive to the beach. We get out and I kept my body cover. Guys were staring at my sister and Sam was sending them death glares and kept his arm around her protectively. I sigh and stay hidden. I walk but all the sudden my towel is gone. Holy son of the potato farmer. I look down and all eyes turn to me. Wolf whistles went around. I look for who took the towel. My eyes narrow in on Cameron and Nash running with is. I took off after them.

"Give it back!" I yelled.

"Leave it off." A dude yelled. They are dying of laughter. I sigh and just go to the water. Sam and Hayden were flirting. I rolled my eyes and sit at the edge. The waves were an inch away. Hayes sits next to me.

"Annabelle I'm sorry. I truly am. I should've had more trust in you."

"I'm sorry for the kiss. I didn't expect it. It was never in the practices. Hayes stands up and takes my hand. He pulls me up. He takes me to the bench where everyone can see. He asked for a bullhorn.

"Can I have everyone's attention?" Everyone looks at him. I look at him confuse.

"Annabelle Lee Williams, I've loved you since I first laid my eyes on you. I've made a huge mistake of letting you leave. Your sister has tried to kill me. She's just happy that you've met me and hopes for you a better life. I'm in love with you. I promise my promise again. I promise I'll love you forever. I promise you that I'll trust you. I promise that I won't ever leave you unless you shoo me again. Annabelle Lee Williams, do you accept my promise?" He says taking the ring and placing it in the palm of his hand. I look at him and then at the crowd. I look at Hayden who was smiling so big I thought her mouth was going to break.

"Yes, I accept your promise."

"Ride Safe Cowgirl." He puts it on my finger and kissed me. The crowd went wild. Girls had tears in their eyes. Hayden was yelling one thing. Guess. Yep

"NO TOUCHY!" She yells.

"Shut up, Hayden!" She laughs, I kiss Hayes again.

"I love you, Cowgirl."

"I love you too, Superman." He smiles and guess what we did. We went swimming, Hayden and I fell asleep on the way back home. Hayes and Sam carry us in. Hayes lays me down and whispers..

'Ride Safe Cowgirl.' He kisses my forehead and leaves.
