Chapter 4
JAMES POV
I was at my house, I just came home from school. Ugh- My life is a misery. And so, I went inside and saw my dad and mom talking like hell,Discussing about the business.And whatever.
It's like they are discussing something. I continued walking and was about to pass by. But they called my name, Ugh- What now? Ever since I went back here, I've been living like hell..
More than I was living in Australia. Am I that stupid to think that I'll found her again? Ayish. I knew I'll make the wrong decision.
"James! Son. Come here," Mom said as she smiled at me while making a hand signal to come closer.
"What?" I asked them as I reached the place where they are sitting at the sofa.
"James. I have some good news!" She said as she clapped her hands once.
I looked at Dad who seemed to have a bright face, I looked back at my mom and he was grinning. My eyebrow started to raise up and confusion on my face is what you can see.
"Huh?" I said as I lifted my backpack from my back avoiding it from falling.
"Okay. I cant wait! Go tell him!" Mom said as she tapped my dad's arm.
"James.. Son, I have fixed my last will, And all of our treasure will come to you! If ever you'll get married.. And it'll be soon." He said as my mom laughed.
I slowly nodded, Trying to understand what they have just said.. Wait, What?!?!?! Me?! Getting married soon?!!? Peace of darn shit! I uttered it on my mind, Trying to repeat it.
Did I just heard the right thing? I asked myself. I cant be married! I dont want to be married! I meant is, I dont want to be in an arranged marriage! That's shit.
My eyes widened up and my jaw just dropped but I laughed at the end.
"Mom, You're kidding me. You got me there!" I said as I fakely laughed.
Their smiles started fading, Oh no. They are serious. Nooo!
"Right? You're kidding me..Please tell me you are!" I said as my eyes looked at them vice versa.
"We're not James." Dad answered as he crossed his arms.
"Darn!" I murmured as I closed my eyes angstly.
Arghhh! Gahhhh! Why the hell I should suffer like this?! I dont want to be in an arrange marriaged! Okay?! This is compltely shit. A complete bullshit in my life. Gahh! I thought trying to
relieve my frustration and irritation.
"There's no way I'll be on arrange marriage!" I yelled as I turned around and about to walk upstairs.
"Now! James Reid! Dont ever put your backs on us now!" My mom shouted but I didnt listened. I turned and faced them.
"And for the record, We're not chinese. So WHY DO THE STUPID ARRANGE MARRIAGE?!" I again shouted in vain. I hate their ideas! It makes my life darn miserable as hell! They even left
Lauren on Australia, She should have come with me and defend me from my short minded parents. Ugh-.
I stomped my feet as I walked out of that scene, Heading to my room. I threw my bag on my bed and groaned. I punched the wall hard! I groaned again in pain, And pulled my hair out of
frustration. Stupid! I'm always having a bad day. I need to think clearer!
