Gin: Welcome Suzuno!~

Suzuno: Hi. Why are you being nice to me?

Gin: Usually if I'm not so familiar with the character I do that. Especially those from IE Seasons 1-3 for I haven't watched the episodes yet. But I try my best to read fanfics and also profiling so I could at least learn their overall personality.

(Your POV)

You wrapped yourself with three blankets and sat by the fire.

Winter had just set in and if there's anything that you don't like about it is that you always find winter to be so deathly cold.

You tightened your beanie and curled your toes against the couch. "Someday... I will retire in the tropics..." you said between shivers.

You don't have a medical condition against low temperatures, you just thought that the other seasons are better than winter.

An incessant knocking on your front door startled you and made you drop your blankets on the floor.

You picked them up and wrapped them around you before carefully making your way to the door.

When you opened it, you were surprised to see your friend from the neighborhood, Suzuno Fuusuke. He wore an olive green parka, light blue scarf, winter boots, and no hat.

"(Y/n)! Come on out! The weather today is perfect for snow sports!" Suzuno said, ignoring your appearance as you looked like a walking bunch of blankets.

"N-no thanks, Suzuno. I'll just stay here by the fire and keep warm..." you said and wrapped yourself tighter.

"It's no fair! You never come out when it's winter!" Suzuno almost whined.

"Well, you know me," you said and turned to leave but Suzuno grabbed your shoulders.

"Come on, (Y/n). Come out just this once!"

"Hey!" you said as you found yourself being dragged outside into the snowy weather.

Since you got no choice, you threw your blankets inside and closed the door before finally going out with Suzuno in the worst weather of your nightmares.

You can't believe you are actually outside, dreading the cold and Suzuno seemed like he's walking on a fair summer day.

To your surprise, Suzuno took your hand and together you ran towards a snow covered hill.

"Ever tried snowboarding before?" Suzuno asked.

You raised your brow at his question for he's one of the many people who knew that this was actually your first time to go out on a winter day.

"Oh, right," Suzuno said scratching his head. "Why don't you try it?"

There was one snowboard and you carefully got into it next to Suzuno after a moment of hesitation.

"Hold on tight!" Suzuno said before making the snowboard slip downhill.

Your eyes widened and your heart beat so fast at the speed of the snowboard that you had to hold on tight to Suzuno.

"Whoa!" you both screamed as the snowboard turned to different directions while moving downhill.

"See? This isn't so bad," Suzuno said smiling back at you.

You smiled back. You couldn't agree more for it's true that for the first time, you actually enjoyed going out on a winter day.

But then as you looked ahead, you saw something dark coming your way.

"Rock! Look out!" you yelled.

Suzuno tried to steer the board but it was too late.

You felt yourself being thrown in mid-air and then landing on thick snow.

You were about to get up but then something heavy and warm dropped on you, making you close your eyes.

When you tried to open them, you felt that you sustained no injuries yet a certain light haired guy was on top of you.

"Phew! I thought we're going to be... " Suzuno paused as he saw you underneath him. "...dead..."

You saw a faint blush forming under his eyes making your cheeks flush red as well at your current position.

Your back was on snow, yet you felt as warm as summer with Suzuno looking right into your eyes.

"Thanks, Suzuno," you said and smiled at him.

"Y-you're welcome," Suzuno muttered before laying next to you.

Like a magnet, your hands found each other and now you were both looking into the sky, lying in the snow. Your heart felt warmer and you begin to love winter as well as the person next to you. He was like a midsummer day in the middle of this cold season.

You turned to Suzuno and said, "Maybe we should also try ice skating or perhaps skiing next time."

Suzuno smiled back and held your hand tighter. "Yeah, we should."
