His visble eye widened at the splendid and glorious sight before him. For a moment, his breathing paused. His mouth gradually parted and was slightly open for another beat. Had someone noticed his reaction at the moment, one would have thought that he was a statue for standing frozen still in more than just mere minutes.

Involuntarily, a foot step forward.

Then another.

And another.

Each step involuntarily brought him closer to her. Beads of tears had become visible on the corners or his eye as he could not believe what he was seeing right now.

His heart is in absolute chaos, rapidly pounding and jumping from one emotion to another as what he felt could not be described in two or three emotions only.

But one thing is for sure. She's back. She's really back. The love of his life has finally returned to him.

Kagami's aura let out a stunning glow. Any man who dared to look at her glorious form would be blinded by the extreme light her body emitted. She saw Jirou walking, no, running towards her. Without hesitation.

The male had only one eye left that served as the only window of his soul. Yet at this moment, he seemed to not care whether he'd lost his sight for the rest of his life. Not now that he had seen the woman whom he loved so dearly and promised to love until the day he dies.

"K-Kagami..!" Jirou's voice was cracked. It sounded like he had waited so long to say that name again. And it felt like she had longed to hear it from him too.

"Jirou..." Kagami whispered his name as the man stopped running and stood in front of her.

Quickly shutting his eyes whilst flicking the tears aside, Jirou pulled Kagami into a tight embrace.

Her body felt literally hot due to her glowing aura. But it didn't have any effect on Jirou. He hugged her so tight, it was stronger than iron grip. He would never let go. He had waited so long to be with her again. All those days and nights of longing, his desire, the ultimate need to hold again the one he loves, he had slowly let it go and poured it over this gesture that he wanted to never end.

Tears streamed down the face of the guardian as she hugged her lover back. She had never seen this side of him. It was overwhelming. Her heart was screaming happiness as she felt Jirou's embrace once again. It felt like a lifetime since she had been with him.

"You're back... You're finally here..." Jirou's voice trembled along with his body. He was shaking with so much joy and excitement.

"Yes I am..." Kagami whispered. "And nothing will ever separate us again."
