The rays of sunshine gently touched her fair skin. She slightly moved from the bed, turning to the other side and somewhat reaching for something or rather someone. The missing presence of that person that used to be there last night seemed to have awakened her senses, making her eyes open halfway with a slight frown becoming visible on her forehead.

Misaki slowly got up from bed and rubbed her eyes. She looked around the empty room and sighed. Almost hesitating to get up, she made her way to the bathroom to brush her teeth, comb her hair and do other usual stuff in the morning.

Once she got out of the bathroom, she was met by a warm touch of soft lips on her cheek.

"Good morning, beautiful.." Hiura greeted with a sweet smile on his face as he hugged Misaki from behind.

"Morning.. don't you have work today?" Misaki asked, holding onto Hiura's arms.

"Yes I have work.. with you," Hiura purred in her ear, making the platinum blonde haired girl blush at his seductive tone.

"You smell like dough. What have you been doing this morning?" Misaki asked, noticing the sweet aroma of pastry that emitted from the blue-haired male.

"Come outside and you'll see. I have a surprise for you," Hiura took Misaki's hand with him and led her to the door. Just as he was about to open it, he stopped.

"Oh wait, close your eyes first," Hiura winked.

Misaki smiled and raised a brow but she did close her eyes and let Hiura take the lead.

She heard the door open and her senses were met by the sudden cool temperature in the living room. She wondered what could've happened when something sweet smelling met her senses. She guessed it to be muffins or a chocolate cake.

"Okay," Hiura began. "Open your eyes.."

Misaki slowly lifted her eyelids and a bright scene unfolded before her.

The living room was mostly in white and blue. A dry yet cool material dropped from above. They were artificial snowflakes. She looked at the floor and it seemed to be draped in a white substance. The living room was decorated with a winter wonderland theme. Across the ceiling were huge letters that make up the sentence, "Happy Birthday Misaki". The table was filled with pastries and dancing juice and a huge cake with white frosting was settled in between.

"Happy birthday to the love of my life," Hiura said, his cheeks turning into a deep shade of red and gave Misaki a tight embrace.

Misaki smiled yet she felt a little embarrassed at forgetting her very own birthday.

"You overdid yourself," Misaki said as they pulled away.

"You deserve it..." Hiura ran his hand along Misaki's hair and pulled her into a warm and passionate kiss.

"Thank you Kirina-kun. I love you..."

"I love you more."
