Your POV

"Where do you think you're going?" your older brother Jirou stopped you as you are about to go out the door.

You pouted your lips. "Nii-san, don't you remember what day it is?"

"It's Saturday," your brother said, raising a brow.

You face palmed. "No... It's me and Akio's 500th day together."

"Are you sure? Did you seriously count that?"

You sure did. For since you and Fudou got together, your older brother has been extra protective of you. Giving you curfews, and always wanting to make sure you were always okay. It is clear that he doesn't fully trust your boyfriend, despite being in the same soccer team.

And you two had a deal. That if you and Fudou are still together on your 500th day, there'll be no more curfews whenever you're with your boyfriend.

Your brother sighed as he remembered that deal so he gave way for you to the door.

"Don't stay out too late," he sternly said before you left with your boyfriend who had come just in time to pick you up.

"Happy 500th day, Akio-kun!" you greeted your boyfriend with a peck on his cheek. He kissed you back on the forehead.

"Same to you, (Y/n)-chan. Where would you like to go?"

"Let's go watch a movie!" You suggested.

"Okay."

Both of you went to a movie theater in the city and it was already past 6pm when you got there.

The movie theater is featuring the new horror movie and you both decided to watch that.

Horror movies are not really your thing. But since you are going in there with your drop-dead gorgeous boyfriend who never let go of your hand since you left your house, you weren't scared at all.

You bought some popcorn and when the movie started, you were already clinging onto Fudou's arm in front of the big screen.

"Relax, babe (or your preferred endearment). It's just a movie," Fudou assured you while holding your hand firmly but gently.

You both watched and as the movie went on, you were suddenly yelping and Fudou was always alert to hold you tight whenever you flinched.

Soon the movie ended and it's already half past 8 when you both decided to go home, lest your brother be worried again.

"Thanks for a great time, Akio-kun," you said as you stepped to the door.

"Good night, (Y/n)-chan," Akio-kun said before leaving.

(Short timeskip)

It was way past midnight but you were still wide awake. That movie really got the better of you and now you were cursing yourself for acting like a psycho and overthinking that the movie you watched could be real.

You don't want to look like a zombie in the morning so you decided to get some sleep and knocked on the door of your brother's room.

"Nii-san?" You called outside while carefully tapping the door.

There was no answer. You called your brother for about ten times but to no avail.

"Man, this guy sleeps like a bear in hibernation," you sighed.

You went back to your room but you still can't sleep so you called Fudou instead.

After about a few seconds of ringing, you felt relieved when your boyfriend picked up.

"(Y/n)? Is something wrong?" Fudou asked in a sleepy voice on the other line.

"Akio... Uhm, I can't sleep and I feel anxious. I tried to wake Nii-san but he didn't," you said slightly nervous.

"Should I come over?"

"I-if it's okay with you..."

"Hang on. I'll be there."

"Thanks, Akio," you hanged up, hugged your knees and waited for Fudou.

As soon as your phone received a message, you immediately ran downstairs to open the door.

You hugged Fudou as soon as you saw him.

"Hey," he gently patted your head. "Come on, let's get you to sleep."

He accompanied you back upstairs and you went back to bed.

Now that he's here, you felt relieved. And sleepy at last.

"Go to sleep. I won't leave your side," Fudou said as he wrapped your blanket over you.

"You can sleep here too," you said.

"Don't worry about me," Fudou said as he planted a soft kiss on your forehead and in a moment, you drifted off to sleep.

~Extended Ending~

"(Y/n), wake up!" Jirou knocked on your door. "Breakfast is ready!"

There was no answer so he opened the door.

"(Y/n), I cooked some----- what the heck is Fudou doing in your room?!!!"

Gin: I didn't know Sakuma-san can be overprotective.

Sakuma: I'm not! And it isn't right for Fudou and my sister to be alone in a room!

Gin: Well that would not happen if only you were not so hard to wake!

Sakuma: tsk... well...

Gin: besides, they didn't do anything bad in there!

Sakuma: hmmp, okay. If you say so.
