(Your POV)

"Always put on that smile. It reminds me how beautiful my world is."

You chuckled as you read the new note posted in your locker.

It has been the third time this week that an anonymous person leaves sweet notes in your locker and every time the penmanship is different. So you thought that the writer must be very clever to have different people to write it so you won't guess who he or she is.

You reread the two previous notes given to you.

"There's no word in the dictionary that can best describe how beautiful you are on the inside out."

"If I receive a flower every time I think of you, I could walk through my garden forever."

Just then you wrote on the back of the new note, hoping that it could be a way to reach out to this sweet anonymous person.

"That's very sweet of you. Can I at least get to know something about you?"

You pasted the note on the part of your locker where it could be easily seen. Then you closed it before leaving.

Next day, as soon as you got to school and opened your locker, there was a reply to your message just as you expected.

"I am the guy who wants nothing from you but your happiness."

Hmm, so it's a guy, you thought.

You wrote again on a different piece of paper.

"Okay, now I know that you're a guy. Anything else you can tell me about yourself? 😊 "

You pasted it at the bottom of the previous note and left to go to your class.

You eyed all your male classmates and none of them seemed to show any interest in you. So you thought, maybe he's from another section.

Afternoon came and when you came back to the locker, there's a reply.

"I'm the guy who's willing to be late a bit for soccer practice, just to say that I love you."

Bingo. So he's a soccer player.

You were a manager in Raimon's soccer team. How come you never noticed anyone from the players?

You went to straight to the soccer field and the team was already there.

"Hey, (Y/n)!" Aoi greeted you.

"Hey, Aoi. Sorry I'm late," you said.

"It's fine. It's only been a few minutes since the practice started."

You sat on the bench when you spotted that one of the players is missing.

"Eh? Where's Tenma?" you ask.

"He was here a while ago. But then he asked permission from coach to do something really quick."

You raised a brow. Could it be? Is Tenma the anonymous person?

"Coach! Sorry I'm late! I'm back now!" you turned and saw Tenma running down the stairs, panting.

"Hi, Tenma," you said and checked what his reaction would be.

"Hey (Y/n)," Tenma casually said without even looking at you then went straight to practice.

Hmm? Maybe it's not him.

The next day, you just got to school  and was about to head to the locker when you see a teal-haired guy closing your locker then turning to the left and right.

"Kariya?!" you said, your tone full of surprise.

"Oh, hey (Y/n)!" Kariya suddenly turned to you and you could see that he was sweating a lot.

"What were you doing with my locker?!" you ask.

"What are you talking about? I-i wasn't doing anything in your locker."

Before you could say more, Kariya dashed off from you.

You slowly opened your locker and saw that there was a new note.

"Whenever I see you, my heart would stop. Wouldn't it be nice if we could meet up?"

You read the note again. Did the anonymous person just ask you to meet him? He sure did.

With caution, you replied to the note.

"Okay. Stay in the field after soccer practice this afternoon."

You felt thrilled when afternoon came and soccer practice began.

You did your usual routine helping the team and when practice was over, you patiently waited at the bench for the last guy that would stay in the field.

One by one the members of the soccer club went home.

Until one of them was left.

There he is.

Standing nervously in the middle of the field and not looking in your direction.

Matsukaze Tenma.

You smiled and walked towards him.

"Tenma?" you began.

"Y-yes...?" he responded, trying not to show his reddening face.

You pulled out all the notes you received since the first time and gave it to him. "Are these from you?"

Tenma looked at the notes in shock. Then he forcefully closed his eyes. "I'm so sorry!!! I don't know how to tell you what I feel that I had to send you those notes!"

You chuckled. "It's alright. I actually thought it was Kariya."

"I asked him to do it so you won't guess it's me. But he told me that you saw him so I really have to admit now that it was me who sent you those notes."

"You're the most adorable and sweetest person I ever know."

"Really?"

"Yes."

"I'm not sure if this is the right time, but can I ask you out this weekend?"

"Sure. I'd love to have a date with my sweet anonymous admirer."

Tenma took your hand and together, you left the soccer field.
