"Go (Y/n)! Take him down! Rip that arm off his shoulders!"

You rolled your eyes as Aoi sadistically cheered on you.

"Don't give up Matatagi! She's just a girl! You can win against her!"

You snarled at Minaho. Just a girl you say eh?

"I can do this... She's just a girl... I can win easily against her!" you hear Matatagi mutter as he panted.

That's it. They can't just underestimate you just because you're a girl.

"This girl... Will rip you apart!!!" you growled after successfully slamming Matatagi's hand on the desk and yes, you won the arm wrestling fight.

You crossed your arms and grinned in victory.

"Yatta! You did it (Y/n)!" Aoi exclaimed as she shook your shoulders.

"Well, what about it now, Matatagi? I won. Now, our deal," you said smirking at Matatagi.

He slumped his face on his hands then suddenly smiled back up at you, making you flinch back.

"Yeah, our deal, so now you're saying that you like me?"

Your brows met at what he said. "What are you talking about?"

"The deal of course."

"Are they arguing again?" Manabe asked Minaho.

"What did you expect?" Minaho said and crossed his arms.

"You always leave me behind!" you snarled at Matatagi.

"Well it's not my fault you run like a snail!" he growled back at you.

"Who you calling a snail?!" you said and grabbed his collar.

"Whoa! Let me go!"

You pushed him back and tried to walk away.

Just then Matatagi said, "Why are you always arguing with me?"

You turned to him. "I should ask you the same thing."

"Maybe you like me," he said and grinned.

You scoffed. "Oh, please, why would I like someone like you? Maybe it's you who like me," you said and grinned back at him.

"Or maybe you like each other," Minaho said.

"No!!!" you and Matatagi said in unison.

"Oh yeah, well based on my calculations you two are experiencing a psychological condition that occasionally happens in adolescence," Manabe said, fixing his glasses.

"A psychological what that happens in what?" you asked.

"Technically Manabe meant to say that you two are having a mutual attraction," Minaho said.

Matatagi laughed. "Are you kidding me? How is that possible?"

"Well how about we settle this with a fight between you two?" Ibuki suggested.

"What fight?" you asked.

"How about an arm wrestling fight? If Matatagi wins, then that means he likes you. If not, then it'll be the other way around."

"Nani? How is it even connected to-----"

"You just have to prove what you said. So are you both backing down?"

"Of course not! Challenge accepted," you said and pumped your fists.

"Ne... Whatever. Guess I got no choice," Matatagi said and looked away.

And now you won the deal. And you realized that you just actually admitted that you liked Matatagi.

Your face flushed red at the realization and Matatagi smiled gently at you.

"Okay, let's get out of here," Manabe said.

"Yeah, me too," Aoi said. "Come on, Minaho! Let's give them some privacy..."

When all of them had gone. Matatagi crossed his arms. "So you do like me?"

"I never said that," you said, looking away to hide your blush.

"That's okay, I like you too," Matatagi casually said.

You looked back at him and stared into his eyes. "You gotta be kidding me."

"Why don't we try another round of arm wrestling?"

"Okay?" you said and rested your elbow once again on the desk. Matatagi took your hand and you suddenly felt weird as you touched.

Without warning, Matatagi immediately slammed your hand on the desk.

"Welp, it's a win-win now," he said.

"Which means what?"

Without another warning ?Matatagi's lips suddenly landed on yours. Your eyes shot open but then they closed as you felt him savoring every inch of your mouth and you unknowingly kissed him back.

After you broke the kiss, you frowned at him.

"How dare you do that without permission!"

"And how dare you kiss me back!"

"You are a terrible kisser!"

"Says you!"

Minaho: Are they arguing again?

Aoi: as expected.

Manabe: so are we just gonna stand here and listen to them argue or what?

Ibuki: I'm out.

Minaho and Aoi: Me too.

Kariya: Out of ideas?

Gin: and laziness plus lack of sleep.

Kariya: you're a terrible author.
