[So, I think I'll just put random stuff up here. Updates, I guess. It most likely will have nothing to do with the story.]

1:12 AM

First show! It was amazing. The colors, the lights, the crowd, the Remix Section, everything was awesome. And the Xylobands looked beautiful. It's the first time I've seen them in person, and I can't believe how breathtaking they were. I wish you could see the pictures I got.

Me, Quince, and Rylan spent our time backstage watching with Phil, and trying to not lose our hearing. I'm sure I'll go deaf after the first month, anyway. I should start wearing earphones.

We had a role in the whole thing, too, even though nobody from the crowd saw us. In the morning, the crew members decided to put us to work. We plugged stuff in, made sure guitars worked, tested the lighting, and whole bunch of other stuff I never thought I'd do. Except the guitar part. I've done that with Quince and Rylan a lot.

But everything else? Nope.

I liked soundcheck this morning. I always thought it was when the band was at its most serious point, trying to get everything right. But it turns out, it's a time for making mistakes and correcting them in the most humorous way possible.

Chris made a mistake in playing piano, and Jonny turned around to laugh at him. And then I tripped over a cord, unplugging it from... whatever it was plugged in to. I'm pretty sure it was the bass, because Guy looked down and frowned at his instrument for a moment.

But after they noticed me stumble, Chris laughed mid-song and kept laughing throughout soundcheck, as if he kept recalling it while it was still hilarious.

Wasn't very funny to me, even if I didn't fall. Luckily, Quince didn't see it, otherwise he'd make fun of me for the rest of the tour.

But the concert itself was amazing. I loved the colors, and the way the crowd was. They sang along to almost every song, whether it be Charlie Brown or a slower, quieter song like Everglow. And the Xylobands were awesome. I wish I could have one, but the band are trying to encourage people to recycle them this tour. And besides, I have a better thing than a Xyloband: the tour itself.

Everybody who goes to a concert get a Xyloband. Some people get to go backstage to meet the band. But nobody gets to travel with them. With the exception of us, of course.

I think we're the luckiest kids on planet Earth.

"We should go out into the crowd one night," Quince suggested, fiddling with his pencil.

"Why?" Rylan asked. "I feel like we'll get trampled."

"I'm bigger than most of those people," he snorted.

"You're barely taller than Guy," I pointed out. "And I'm almost as tall as you."

"I am not that short!"
"You calling Guy short?" Rylan laughed.

"GUY," I shouted, "Quince called you short."

"Haha, he's on stage," Quince said. "I did not call him short! Don't tell him!"

We all just laughed at him.

I'm still determining whether or not I should tell Guy that Quince called him short. I probably won't. I gotta be on my fake-brother's side, right?

I think we should go out in the crowd one night, though. We can make a sign that says something stupid, and we'll bounce balloons onto stage. Maybe I'll ask Chris to pull us up on the stage from the crowd so we can mess around with the band.

I'll probably catch balloons and kick them at one of the band members, just because.
