[I'm already struggling to remember to change all of the Ryan names to Quince instead. Help~]

Santiago, Chile

The first thing you may notice is I put our current location along with the time and date. I've decided I'll start doing that from now on, so if you want, you can head on over to the Timeline on the website and check out pictures from that show.

But I've received a suggestion today from... everybody?

First, Rylan suggested that I let somebody else write a day in my journal, just one time. Then, Quince said I should I should let him write something.

Everybody else? They all said I should share what I've wrote everyday, if there's time.

I'm considering the last one.

But I'm not a very good storyteller. I'd rather read in my head than read aloud, and I sound like a robot when I read.

I'm better at writing. No good at reading aloud.

Anyway, I decided I would sit on the stage during soundcheck. Not that exciting, I know. But I got some pretty cool pictures of them, and I distracted Chris so many times by doing absolutely nothing. He probably kept forgetting I was there.

But now, I'm backstage sitting on some cases that are supposed to be for speakers. We were told to stay out of the way as best we could, and these speaker cases are pretty out of the way.

I have no idea were Quince and Rylan are. They've most likely found themselves lost among the vast area that is backstage. I'm right by where the band walk onto stage and off stage. Nope, I'm not lost!

Maybe I should call Rylan and make sure they're alright...

I'll do it in a minute. They'll be fine, there are crew members all over the place.

But during soundcheck, I made a few new friends: some of the crew. There are too many to be friends with all of them (and some don't want to have anything to do with me), but I've met a few.

I can't get over the bass tech's name. It's Paul Newman! Come on, if you know who that is, then I think you'll find it at least a little funny. I call him Mr. Movie Star sometimes.

Of course, I've met Bash. We've met all of the techies, really. Hoppy, Steph Thompson, Matt McGinn, and Mystic. Leonel Neto Da Rocha (I think it's a Spanish name, or French) is the keyboard/piano tech person, Bash is Will's drum tech, Hoppy is Chris's guitar tech, Steph is in charge of all things radio, Mystic (also known as Nick) is in charge of onstage audio, Matt is Jonny's guitar tech. And Paul is Guy's bass tech.

I know Bash's actual name is Sean Buttery, but I don't remember Hoppy's actual name. So, I just call him Hoppy, like everybody else. I think Quince gets Hoppy and Bash mixed up. I heard him call Bash Hoppy yesterday.

But I feel like I'm part of the crew now. A couple of speaker-dealer-with-ers (I don't know what to call them) asked me to help them move and hook up some speakers around the stadium earlier, and yesterday. My work paid off, because the speakers I hooked up tonight are being used on the C-stage, without the devilish delay that usually happens during soundcheck.

Oh! Rylan just texted me. She wants to know where I am... yup, they're lost. I guess I have to go find them now. Updates on the concert tomorrow! Wow, this was a short entry...
