Of course, I'm the last one to get my fortune or whatever. Honestly, I don't believe in this stuff so I'm the exact opposite of excited. Aaron's still getting his done, I'm still waiting...but I'm not eager or anything.

"Hey Arthur," from beside me I can hear Sonya's voice, "what kind of stuff are you into?" She attempts to open me up, but I don't exactly open up to people I barely know or like. "Why are you asking me about it? Can't you just pull it out of my mind or whatever?" I sneak a glare at her, noticing the genuine interest in her eyes. I look back to my legs, which are stretched out in front of me. I take a moment to think, tightening my blanket around me. "I like musicals a lot," I smile to myself, "I grew up in Mutland, which is where my favorite actor did most of his plays n stuff."

She gently nudges my arm, I look over to her to see a smile across her face. "I have family over there! Mutland is where my cousins live." This surprises me, either this girl is part Urian or talking about the very few humans in that area. "Are you sure? Mutland is a Urian place and uh, you don't look very Urian." The girl rolls her eyes at my statement. "You don't look very Urian either." I can't help but smile at the tone of her voice when she says that. Despite not wanting anything to do with her, I still find myself interested in who her family is. "Who's the family you have in Mutland? I'm curious and I might know them."

Sonya's smile fades, but at the same time it doesn't. She still wears a smile on her face but it's not convincing me that she's truly happy in the moment. Matter of a fact, I sense a lack of confidence in her knowledge. Which leads me to think that she isn't sure who her family was. I wouldn't be shocked if she can't remember, those prisons take away your memories sometimes. I mean, I forgot my middle name and a large portion of my memories just by being at the place for weak scyras. I can't imagine how it would be like for a mindreader in the "Prison of Potential."

"I don't remember much about them. I don't think I saw them very often. I do remember one of my cousins being another scyra." She breathes out a laugh, meeting eyes with me for a second and then turing over to the snake wrapped around her wrist. I'm surprised Blossom even bothered getting near Sonya. That snake didn't like Aaron being anywhere near her for at least a month.

"Oh my god! That was so cool!" The shop door slams open and out pops an energetic Aaron. At first the amount of positive energy scares me, but it's quickly replaced with a rush of distressing energy coming from Aaron's core emotions. Whatever fortune he got, it obviously scared him. Apate pokes her head out of the door after Aaron hops over to Sonya and I. She smiles to me before stepping out and addressing me. "Arthur, I'll have you in a bit. I have to prepare for a little bit." I nod in response.

Aaron plops down beside me, instantly resting himself on my shoulder, making my heart pound. He nuzzles his cheek into me and sighs as he relaxes. I can feel myself begin to overheat simply just because Aaron chose to use me as his head rest. "Are you comfortable yet?" I ask, using a deep and "menacing" voice to make it less obvious my stomach is in a knot. Aaron huffs out. "Actually no. I'm freezing." Instantly, I roll my eyes. He only wants me for my blanket, as always. "This blanket isn't that big, y'know." Truth be told, it's plenty big. I'm just waiting for him to do something about it because that's just how I roll. The boy grunts, getting off my shoulder and glaring at me. I smirk at him, leaving him to get offended. His brows lift and eyes widen, giving me a "oh, you think you're smoothe?" face aka the scariest thing Aaron can do...but not really. Half a second later I have a petty little teenager sitting in my lap and wrapping himself up using my body and blanket for heat.

Nevermind.

You should be terrified when he makes that face.

"AARON."
